I don’t usually spend money on fancy food, but I decided to come here with my friends. As a college student on a tight budget, I wanted to treat myself to good-quality food for once.
Cooking the meat by ourselves was fun at first, but it got tiring after some time. Still, we ordered the $90 meat set for two, and it was very delicious. The food was high quality, and overall the experience was really good.

ive been going every few weeks for a while, and its always amazing. i feel like you get decent value when ordering as a group and theres decent app rewards and happy hour pricing so eating alone doesnt break the bank. the higher quality meats are really worth it

11/26/25. Troy was our server and he was unbelievable, truly one of the best, hat off to that guy. The all you can eat platter is more than “good”. It’s exclusive, a masterpeace, devine, plentiful, considered the “BATMAN” in the dark knight film. Not enough adjectives in the Oxford dictionary to describe how much I enjoyed that. 10/10 spot for a date, night with the family or friends, even just solo! Highly recommend. FYI this is the one on Randolph.

We weren’t very hungry, so we didn’t order the all-you-can-eat ramen. The fried meat and shrimp were also very tasty. We really liked the way the fried rice was served with a raw egg. They brought it out and stirred it right in front of us in a hot bowl, where it finished cooking. The service was simply better.

Enjoyed everything we tried here. We got the 4 person set and it was more than enough food. All the sides and meats were pretty good. We didnt feel rushed and were seated as walk ins. My only issue is that the server kept forgetting things we ordered. We had to request them again multiple times. Besides that, I wouldn’t mind coming back.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. They have seats by the doors that open up to the outside which makes it a great spot to seat and people watch. I highly recommend this place for any type of date, lunch or dinner. Our waitress was Cassidy and she was very nice and attentive. I definitely give her 5 stars. The food was good. I went during lunch and they have a lunch special for 2 or 3 proteins, which is more than enough food. The lunch comes with salad, white rice, and soup. You definitely have to learn where to place the meat on the grate. Next time I will do better at not burning some of my meat….

My first appointment of the day was delayed by almost an hour. I was starting to hear my stomach grumble. So, why not, look up restaurant week menus to see if there was a lunch spot near my next appointment.
Gyu-Kaku seemed like the best menu for my $30. I’ve never had Japanese BBQ (only Korean).
I was welcomed in and was seated immediately. The music was some fun 80s-90s rock.
Service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
Miso soup, salad with a ponzu dressing, steamed pork dumplings with a garlic chili oil, followed by spicy beef and pork that you grill at the table. A big bowl of rice accompanied my proteins. And then green tea ice cream. I only had one bite of dessert because I was so stuffed.
It was a great experience. Delicious. Friendly service.

Food was amazing!!! Harami steak by far the best cut! Our server Daisy gave great recommendations, they also have different verity of options for big parties even for one person. AYCE is the way to go! Definitely will be coming back!
