Visiting SC from the northeast so we obviously needed to stop into a Waffle House. Service was attentive, kind, and efficient. Food was delicious, quickly made, and exactly what was expected. can’t beat the prices or the refreshing fresh sweet tea either!

When I come to the Carolinas I gotta hit the Waffle House ! I was staying in Cherry Grove and made the drive to this location on September 22nd. My waitress was very friendly and took care of me right away. I sat at the counter for the full experience of watching the cooks and the rest of the staff do their thing. Both the cooks were busy , but seemed to be in good spirits. Only one of the waitresses seemed a little unhappy , but she did refill my coffee once when mine was busy ringing customers up.
I of course got the All Star Special. For the meat I got Country Ham and it was huge and so good. A lot of others were ordering it that day too. Waffle was perfectly cooked with melting butter and good syrup. Grits were thick and tasty the way I like them , scrambled eggs cooked right not overcooked and a good amount of them , toast with strawberry jam , and coffee to top it off. I haven’t been to a bad Waffle House , but I’ve heard of some. I went once to a bad Huddle House , never again. No fights that day either , ha ha. I think everyone was fat and happy with their meal.
I’ve been to several locations in the Carolinas and the staff always seems to be happy and attentive unlike many restaurants now days especially fast food. This is good food fast. My son and I went to one in Fayetteville , NC years ago for lunch and the burgers were really good too. Most people only think about them for breakfast and late night , but they have lots of choices on the menu.

We came in around 2 am. Our waitress was lovely. She was kind and made conversation with us. It was a friendly atmosphere. The cook came out to check on us and make sure the food was good, and the food was delicious and exactly what we ordered. By far my best experience at a Waffle House.

Waffle House diners appear to be alike in many ways. The customers are ordinary people, the employees are ordinary people, the food is pretty much ordinary American Diner fare and they’re located in ordinary commercial areas, always on heavily traveled highways. They’re always open 24 hours, their menus are always the same and the decor is always the same, anything but elegant. Mostly, they’re a little grungy around the edges
Waffle House is the kind of place that you either like or you don’t. I happen to like them. Most of them anyway.
This particular Waffle House is a bit brighter and cleaner looking than most. Notably so. Inside, outside, parking lot and restroom, too.

I don’t take the time to review most ordinary chain fast food places, the reviews would be too redundant. Only the good ones and the bad ones are worth the effort. This is one of the good ones.

Placed an order online. Pickup time stated 10:35. Arrived and was told they are short staffed. Order hadn’t been started. An older gentleman with a veteran hat came in. A staff member proceeds to tell him he has to place an order online. The older gentleman has a flip phone. Could barely make it through the door on the cane. I offered to help him place the order but he said he will take his business else where. I told the staff member she should have some decency. She proceeds to tell me “well we are slammed.” I responded that I could have cleaned a table just so he could have a place to sit and eat. The most rude disrespectful person I’ve ever met in the restaurant business. Other tables stated she was rude as well. Will never get my business again and I’m a regular customer.

Went to get a Patty Melt to go, used to be around $6’ish, she looked on the “to go menu” ,,$12! Apparently they charge a whopping 20% for to go!! Well, needless to say I walked out , it’s absurd and I will never step foot in a Waffle House again, no matter what state I’m in!!!

Our Server Angel was super friendly and helpful.
Our food was great! Also prices are good as well. This Waffle House is in Little River. Easy to find on Hwy 17 N.

We love Waffle House and always make it a point to visit one, as there are no Waffle House Restaurants near where we live. This location did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the waitstaff was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

I moved from Atlanta where sunday breakfast was always waffle house. This waffle house is a huge disappointment. We always have ask for the rest of our meal, bacon is never delivered, waffle never delivered, tomatoes are always longe in the tooth. I’ll look for a different waffle house. Corporate would be highly disappointed in this branch.
