Decided to eat dinner here an hour before they closed. Service was very fast, we got their Pad Thai Bangkok and Basil Fried Rice and both tasted very delicious. Pad Thai Bangkok – one thing was that the shells on the prawns were still there but otherwise it was delicious. Basil Fried Rice – the spice was the right amount of spice, we got chicken and shrimp for the protein. We also got the Mixed Appetizer and the crab rangoons and keow krob were crispy and delicious, the satay chicken was seasoned well, and the spring rolls were so delicious! The sauces that came with the mixed appetizer tasted really good. Portions were large and service was great. I would definitely go back and try more of their food!

Taste of Thai is my favorite in Lansing! The food is consistently delicious, and the butterfly pea flower tea is so refreshing. I highly recommend trying their pad Thai peanut with beef and medium spice and this beautiful tea. Great service and cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

**A Hidden Gem for Thai Food Lovers—Especially If You’re Gluten Free!**
I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed my family’s favorite Thai restaurant yet! We absolutely love Thai cuisine, and over the years, we’ve had it all across the U.S.—which taught us that not all Thai is created equal, especially when you’re gluten free.
This place stands out for its incredible menu full of rich, authentic flavors *without* the gluten. Most dishes are naturally gluten free or can easily be made that way. But here’s the thing—even if you don’t need to eat gluten free, you’ll still be blown away. That’s because the food here is made with real, fresh ingredients by people who clearly know what they’re doing. Nothing from a can or freezer—just thoughtfully prepared, delicious dishes.
Every meal here feels like a warm hug. The presentation is beautiful, the flavors are on point, and the portions are satisfying. On top of all that, the staff are kind, attentive, and clearly care about giving you a great experience.
Whether you’re a Thai food connoisseur or just looking for a consistently amazing meal, this spot is a must-visit!

To/dr: crazy fast service, friendly staff. Food could be better. But I would go again without complaining.
Long version:
Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) is one of my favorite dishes. Theirs is good, but not great, and I understand the other reviews saying that their food seems sugary. It’s a bit sweeter than any other Pad Kee Mao I have in memory.
I did love the spice level, I loved the atmosphere, but just wish the dish had more flavor and texture. It was slightly too rubbery, slightly too sweet, slightly expensive for the portion size, slightly lacking in flavor, and overall I would categorize it as a place I would go when I really want Thai but there aren’t many other options. But I would still enjoy it without raving about it.
I think my biggest negative is that the noodles felt somewhat overcooked, like in a wok that had seen too much food that day or that a previous dish had been overcooked in.
Definitely not 3/5. Definitely not 5/5. But worth trying.

This is one of my favorite Thai places in Okemos-East Lansing-Lansing. It’s a nicely decorated interior and the lunch portions are exceedingly generous. Dinner is excellent as well, though you may want to plan ahead because it was very busy when we went there for takeout. The only downside is the ice cream, which I did not care for at all. That doesn’t detract from the score in my book, however, since the rest of the menu is so good.

Just a great little place that is bigger inside than it seems outside. Im not a huge thai food fan but every now again dabble. I was really impressed by the foods simple presentation and portion sizes. The wooden tables and beautiful display cases are a great touch. The food tasted excellent. I went for lunch and the menue was great because there were multiple options but the price was $13 and if you wanted a certain protein added just add a dollar. I like the simplicity of that style of pricing as well. I will definitely be back.

The ingredients are fresh and this Thai food tastes vegan and homemade. Beautiful artful butterfly lemonade with vivid color created from flowers.
I would have given this restaurant a five except if you ask for a specific sauce they charge you almost a dollar for a really small teeny tiny bit of that sauce.
Just be aware, I would still return though. Taste is worth it.

Went in for lunch ordered 2 lunch specials that were $13 each. Very well priced not pictured is soup and salad that comes with each entree. They were very tasty but not hot enough. The soup was hot though. They serve Coke in single cans for $3 each. We ordered a Thai ice tea but the waitress must’ve forgotten about it and we didn’t get it. No big deal. We did order mango and sticky rice that was delicious but the portion was way too small for $7 . I will not order that again. Overall I would come back again. The place was packed and service was okay.
