Ordered nachos and paid extra for all the fixins..tomatoes, grilled onions, avocado. Here’s what I got..chips, meat, cheese. Top layer only over a bed of naked chips underneath. None of the extras I paid for a la carte. Ordered a side of guacamole and chips…guacamole was a runny sauce that smelled like pureed green peppers. Pretty sure slim to no avocado was used. And how can you screw up a side of refried beans?? One wonders. I threw the burrito away without bothering to even open it. Disgusting. These people took no pride in preparing this food and should feel utterly embarrassed. This was an evening time food delivery order. Never again.

The tacos weren’t seasoned very well (carnitas) but I did absolutely love the wet burrito! I’d give the tacos 2.5 stars and the burrito 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back for more burritos! Also, the roasted jalapenos were heavenly. I ordered to-go and was given pre-packaged salsa that was disgusting, but the hot sauce and salsa they have for customers to grab was tasty. Unfortunately, there’s no to-go packaging for the many toppings and salsas they have available. I’ll definitely be back!

Super glad to find this gem that is as close as you can get to the famous Tacos El Guardo in San Diego.
The tacos here are crazy good, especially the crispy tripas, cabeza, adobada and lengua! I also ordered the fried tilapia fish and was impressed by the freshness and portion.
Service was excellent. Fast and courteous.
Atmosphere is hole-in-the-wall, and clean.
The food is delicious. I couldn’t stop thinking about it the next day.

The food was mediocre. We had the enchilada plate that was very disappointing. A friend d dietary concerns and beans and rice. There was no option to get a dinner size of the and had to get three orders. Also, without pico de gallo sauce, it was very bland.

This review might come off as I only post review if something bad happened but I promise it’s not! Don’t let this review sway you from coming here, definitely come here. Authentic & delicious tacos every time. They don’t skimp on the meat at all, best priced tacos in town especially for their quality & quantity. The food came out fast and piping hot. The crispy tripe & carne asada tacos is my go-to and to die for!
However, today the young guy working with a bowl cut tried to finesse me when I ordered a Large Fountain Drink and he tried to charge me a Large Horchata which is double the price. I called him out on it and he fixed it. Yikes, I won’t be tipping today just for that; don’t fool your loyal customers like that. I come here all the time and I always tip generous, minimum 20%. I hope it doesn’t happen again.

We only had a plain cheese quesadilla and were actually impressed with the quality of the cheese.
The diced jalapenos in the quesadilla did catch the child with us off guard, and were much too hot for the little one.
It is an order at the counter sort of restaurant and was reasonably quick with a simple order.
Cleanliness could be a little better at the end of the day. Most just needed a broom.

Tacos, always worth the drive. The rest is hit and miss. We all love the chorizo tacos. I always get the buche, lengua and adobada too. I’ve had the goat soup and fried fish in the past and they were worth trying at least once.
The only negative was the spicy shrimp. We can handle spice. Shrimp was cooked right but the sauce was just too spicy with no flavor.
