Absolutely, wonderful people. BEYOUND FOOD awesome burgers, Chicken Sandwich, cheese curds.I guess everything I had was YUMMY IN MY TUM TUM .I have been a big betty boop collector since 1983, a lot of my friends have been here and always stated , I have to go to Joey’s in waukesha since I live in downtown Dousman, all the cool replicas of old days.. of course , all of the Betty boop too … Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean…Also looks like they changed it for every holiday.It was Valentine’s Day Theme when I was there…
I was also given a betty boop Lunch box in the pictures show with joey daughter , miranda and the waitress victoria. , and very special thank you to the young man that made the call to Joey, to see if he could gave me A lunch box knowing how much I loved betty boop…
I am so happy that there are still some good kids out there in this world…..STILL

Where do I begin? The moment you step in the door the owner makes you feel incredibly welcome. Our children were greeted with a special treat before we were even seated. The prices are reasonable, food delicious, ambience cozy, and the value…SUPERB. our kids were begging to go back again the next day. Needless to say we will be making this a regular spot and highly recommend our wonderful community do the same. This is a restaurant that deserves to be a staple in the community. Cheese curds didn’t last long at the table as they were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Food was cooked very well and quickly. If you’re reading this, it’s a sign that you need to give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

This was the best burger and fries I had! This was my first visit to Joey’s Diner, and I will be back. When the place was busy the owner greeted and treated every customer that walked in the door with a warm welcome. The food and atmosphere are not the only reasons I am writing this review. It was hearing the owner say words of encouragement to his team while they were busy. He kept saying “they were doing a great job” and “keep up the good work”. It was refreshing and a joy to hear the words of encouragement he spoke to them. How he spoke to his team made my experience 100× better. Yes, the food is good and prices are great. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a 1950’s red checkered, Coca-Cola, Elvis diner, with a jukebox. The service provided, and heart of the people who work there are incredible. That’s what made my experience a 10/10.

i absolutely love Joey, i have known him for a few years and he has always treated me and my partner with such respect and love! we haven’t seen him in a while and it was like no time had passed. he has always taken good care of us at evo and now at his diner. we just tried it tonight for the first time after shopping downtown and he was so sweet. we got a few items on the house for it being our first time in and so we could try them! THE CHEESE CURDS ARE AMAZING! we are sooooo stuffed and everything was so yummy, hot and fresh!!! i love the decor and design of the restaurant, it’s so cute. while we were in there a family spent their son’s birthday there and got lots of goodies as well. he is so selfless! definitely recommend and we will be back <3 thank you times a million Joey, your kindness does not go unnoticed!

It was mine and my kids first time at Joeys, they loved the atmosphere and how cool everything looked to them.
The food was really really good and so was the hot chocolate the boys ordered!
We also got complimentary ice cream shakes/sundays and they really hit the spot!
We will deft be back again when it’s a little warmer out.

Amazing establishment! Every single worker at this establishment was friendly and welcoming. Owner was great! He was very welcoming and did everything in his power to make everyone that walked through his doors happy. I have never gone to a restaurant where the owner was so inviting and friendly. This was my first time here and I’ll make sure I make the extra trip to come back. It’s rare for me to give 5 stars on every level but this place deserves it. I visited this diner with my family which consisted of 3 children, myself and my wife and the owner made sure we all were happy. When we walked in the doors we were hungry as we didn’t eat due to our busy schedule. By time we left we were so stuffed. The owner treated us not only with milk shakes but a piece of cake at the end! Plus cookies! Food is amazing. Thanks for putting a smile on my families face and our tummies.

I just wanna say that the atmosphere and the staff are superior to most places. They really put effort into checking in and super friendly at that. I would say the food is not bad. They do put effort into that as well. But the quality of the burger meat is alright. The cheese curds were the best part! I thought I could get a shake with my meal but it’s not on the menu so I was a little disappointed. But I did get a root beer float and that was good. I got the patty melt. The bread was perfectly toasted. I could see there were grilled onions but didn’t really get that sweet caramelized flavor I’m used to. The cheese pull was insane! But like I mentioned before the quality of the meat was not that great. Truly no fault of how they cooked it or anything, it’s just what they ordered. Overall I do give this place a solid 5 stars for atmosphere and and service, but I would say 4 for the food.

Food was good, basic cheeseburger and fries but affordable.
Honestly the welcome we got when we walked in was what sold me. I belive it was the owner. He welcomed and sat us right away, explaining the menu and then got our drinks.
Food order was good, accurate, and fast. Owner could be heard telling his staff how well they were doing throughout our visit. Plus, we got a omplimentary popsicle when we left. How cool is that?
We order sodas, two single cheeseburgers and shared fries. Total was about $21 before tax and tip.

Wonderful Atmosphere. Incredibly friendly staff. The food was amazing. When they tell you the cheese curds are the best in the universe, they are. Cookies at the table while you wait and a piece of chocolate cake to end your meal, perfection!
