Wilma and Shawna are absolutely hands down amazing people. They love their job, cook good food, and very nice. Never seen ladies who love what they do and also talk with their customers. EVERYTHING is good!

Well earned reputation for super quick service, even during busy lunch rush.
Very reasonably priced.
French fries to perfection by majorly multi-tasking cook.
Many customers were addressed by name, speaking to the family-owned atmosphere.
I’ve wanted to visit Anchor Grill for about two years, but I was never in the area until today. A good experience that will draw me back as my preferred lunch spot now that I have business in the area.

Friendly and quick service. Food was hot and delicious. Generous portions. Tastes like momma made it. My boyfriend and I got biscuits and gravy, he got a western omelet with ham, I got scrambled eggs with hash browns and french toast.

My husband and I love quirky restaurants – the quirkier the better – and Anchor Grill fits the bill. This restaurant, I suspect, looks like it did 50 years ago. Service was excellent and our server started the band box for us. I had the veggie omelette, rye toast, and hash browns and my hubby had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and rye toast. Everything was delicious, but those hash browns were the star of the meal. Next time I am in the Cincinnati area, I will be having breakfast at Anchor Grill and I will be having a double order of the hash browns.

Great mom & pop joint. Food is hot and very tasty. This place has been open for 77 years and the decor is prob the same as it was back in the day. Make sure you bring cash because they don’t take credit. The Waitresses were extremely kind and the coffee was bottomless. I had the two eggs over medium with sausage and toast and hash browns with onions and you just can’t go wrong with it. We would return.

The food was excellent! I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy and the breakfast wrap. The biscuits and gravy came out hot and fluffy and their homemade gravy with sausage was delicious. The breakfast wrap was loaded full of eggs, sausage, and cheese. My wife ordered a burger and said it was awesome. We got a kids grilled cheese for our 1y/o and it had THREE slices of cheese on it!
10/10 recommend this place. It was great!

Harty and Cozy Diner with Friendly Service and a Vintage Vibe
Great service both in a group of coworkers, and while on a date.
Omelettes were simple, fresh, and filling. Wait staff is attentive and always makes sure your coffee cup is full.
Anchor Grill has been open since 1946, and is a Covington staple.
