Had the Dubliner Tenderloin and all I can say is oh my god this was great! 2 – 1/4# Breaded pork loins in Texas toast, fries, sausage gravy, and 2 sunny side up eggs. Pork was crispy and well seasoned, fries were hot and fresh, gravy was flavorful and thick. Service was outstanding! Will be going back for sure

Great place for a meal or drink. The hot beef was very good and the gravy was not salty. The fish and chicken was very good also. The chicken strips we thick and meaty.

Good food and service, loved the Chicken George however next time will get dipping sauce other than Jan sauce, that was not much to my liking. Hubby had Dubliner tenderloin which he also enjoyed. Will be back!

I’ll start by saying I’ve had good food at the Clinton location in the past. Today my experience was entirely different. Picked up a order of chicken George and cod fish. With green beans and mashed potatoes. The fish was very hard and gray in color. Didn’t taste very good at all. All the breading fell off the fish and it was just like a rock laying on the plate. The chicken was also hard and tasted like the fish. Do you fry the 2 of them together? Sure tasted like it. You fell short today on my visit. Not sure when I’ll spend any more money in this establishment.

Good food with a pub environment. A unique menu that includes mashed potatoes on a sandwich. It sounds strange but my friend had it and enjoyed it. They also have a large pretzel that is very good. I had the wings.

I took my son who is working on the Rock Creek Solar project South of Low Moor to Stouts for some comfort food. We finally got some October weather which begged for my favorite comfort food Guinness beef stew. My son has Shepherds pie. We sampled each other’s meals and liked them too. However, were happiest with what we ordered. Guinness on tap was the perfect compliment. We enjoyed watching the bubbles start from the bottom and migrate up to form the head
The listing on the menu is non-descript. I asked our very helpful and attentive server what is in the stew. She described carrots, potatoes and onions in a special Guinness beer beef stew gravy broth. Exactly what I wanted and remembered the last time I had it. The beef was tender and absorbed the all the flavors from the gravy broth, carrots and spices.
Stout Irish Pub is my comfort food place now especially after being out in the field supporting solar and wind projects in Clinton County.

Honestly, one of the best pork tenderloins we’ve found! I really enjoyed the topping options. I got a spicy tenderloin and my husband got a horseshoe tenderloin. Also, they have half price apps during the week from 2-5, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Claiming you have one of the best tenderloins, and also being on the “Iowa Tenderloin Trail” means you better deliver. Today we went to Stouts to see if the tenderloins lived up to the hype. We started with fried pickles. They come out hot! The nice thing is that they cut the spears in half. The breading was a little bland, but the entire pickle was ok. The pork tenderloin itself, simply amazing. It was without a doubt, the best one I’ve ever had. Extremely flavorful, very juicy, and BIG. Bring your appetite, or ask for a to go box. Service is fast and food is quick. My little boy had the kids 7” pizza, and he said it was great as well. Overall, Stouts lived up to the hype. I would absolutely go back!

Came to the area to see the Bald Eagles at Dam 13/14. Like to try local places so we saw good reviews for Stouts. Reviews were right! Food was fabulous! Portions were amazing! Had the Razzle Dazzle Mule drink… Must try! Looking forward to going back. Truly a 5 Star!!!
