Despite not living in the area, this has been one of my most visited spots whenever I am up in the northern metro for any reason, and I loved everything they have offered so far. This is truly a gem of a neighborhood Mexican restaurant that serves the local population greatly.

I think they have very juicy meat inside their tacos and they offer abundant onion and cilantro to ensure a balanced flavor. Along with lime and sauce, the tacos just taste amazing. Specifically, the quesa birria taco, even though not like other tacos, taste very flavor and juicy, and I could not get enough of it. Their platters have abundant food in them, including rice, beans, meat, and sometime vegetables (unless just lettuce), and the prices are very reasonable. I have also tried their menudo, which they served only on weekends, and as much as it wasn’t for me due to me not used to the meat in there, I still had to acknowledge that it was made in very authentic ways and I knew many others would enjoy it.

Overall, definitely recommended to those that live in the northern metro! Nothing else to say other than authentic and flavorful Mexican food involved.

This place used to be pretty good food, would pick up after 10 pm when most other places were closed. But I didnt go for like a year. Now the food is like little childs size, for the SAME PRICE. Hardly any chicken or cheese. Just lots of lettuce and few tomatoes. No guacamole worth having. No sour cream. Wont go anymore. Taco bell is better!

Such a bummer as this place used to be our favorite for Mexican food. Haven’t had it in a few months (last order was cold and incorrect) but wanted to give it another try. We got like half an order of chips in a box, the queso just did not taste right. Chimichangas were literally nothing but flavorless meat and partially melted cheese. Like, the ground beef and chicken both looked like they had zero seasoning on them. Ugh I’m not sure what changed with this place but I’m pretty disappointed

Red Chili Sauce taste like nothing but water mixed with pepper. Super Disappointed. I guess this is what happens when you order a 16oz cup of it right? Never Again!

Food is very very good! Service is horrible, last 2 times I’ve driven here they have been closed even though it says they are opened on google. Last time I made it there at 10:02pm and a lady working there told me that they just closed at 10pm even though it says opened until 12:00. When I told her that she said they don’t know how to change the time on google. Place used to be a top 3 Mexican spot for me.

Stopped by here with my daughter to grab a quick bite.

She ordered the marinated chicken burrito. Her comments are “good but needs more seasoning, maybe also add some cilantro. The spicy salsa is pretty bland too but it actually is spicy.”

I ordered the Camarones ala diabla. Same thing, also kinda bland but it actually has some kick to it.

I appreciate that they provide different salsas to choose from as condiments.

I still prefer this than taco bell or other fast food Mexican chain. I’ll go back and try other options. They have a pretty extensive menu.

First time here, traveling out of town. I ordered tacos de lengua with rice and beans. Also, ordered one birria taco. Overall the food lacked flavor in my opinion. Wouldn’t be a spot I would come back to. Maybe I should have tried something else on the menu. Service was great though.

I had a chicken salad and it was like the whole container of salt was poured on it so disappointing couldn’t eat it. Don’t want it again! You can always add salt if you want it, but you can’t take it out once you drench something in it.

Got a Burrito and tacos, they are huge and packed with meat! Food was served warm, but a bit too greasy and too much sodium going on. They have a salsa bar. Would recommend.
If you pay by credit card, they charge a fee, but they don’t inform customers how many percent.

We woke up craving breakfast burritos and didn’t know where to go. This place was suggested on one of my St Paul foodie groups and it did not disappoint. We drove 30 mins to this spot and enjoyed every bite. I ordered the Blaine breakfast burrito with all the meat options. Delicious! Masks were required to order inside but they had 3 tables outside where we sat in the shade enjoying the breeze and a drive through window for those who wanted to take their food to go. They also had a small seating area inside. It was very clean, organized and every person was friendly and helpful. I’ll be back soon!
