So, they offer two different types of dogs, Polish or All Beef. The menu is super simple, choice of dog, fries, and drink. The dogs are $6 for either. Toppings they will add are onions, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers and/or pickle and their signature sauce J-sauce.
I had the polish dog which 1/3lb, pickle, onion and J-sauce. I also got an order of fries for $4.
Delicious, all of it. Fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Best fries I’ve had in a long time. J-dawg lived up to the hype. It comes on a homemade(I believe) bun…not just your store bought buns. J-sauce is kind of a sweet and light bbq sauce. Went perfectly with the polish. Had water which they offer for free. Napkins, and ketchup and mustard offered at or by the soda fountain (self serve). They have hand wipes as well as the dawg can get messy so that was nice.
Atmosphere is very basic. The have two areas to eat in with a total of 6 tables that can fit 2-6 people depending on the table. No real atmosphere that adds to the experience.
Great little food place. They do offer their sauce for sale and a take home package that you can grill yourself for six people for $35. I can easily recommend this place for a good dawg!

I eat at J-Dawgs once or twice a week, and Lily is easily one of the best employees I’ve encountered at any establishment. She has memorized not only my order, but also the orders of my friends and family, and knows what we want before we even say a word. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and especially accommodating when it comes to allergy needs. Lily truly goes above and beyond. She absolutely deserves a pay raise or, at the very least, Employee of the Month.

Never been here before this visit, got the polish dog with all the fixings….. WOW ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Hands down one of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had. Fries were crispy, dog was hot and ready fast, and service was short sweet and to the point. Definitely will be regulating this place!

Whether you’re a local or just passing through Provo, Utah, J Dawgs is a must-visit for anyone who loves a delicious hot dog. The quality of the food is top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every time. The signature J Dawgs sauce is a game-changer, adding just the right amount of sweet and tangy flavor that perfectly complements the grilled dogs.
The menu is simple, but that’s part of the charm. You customize your hot dog with a variety of fresh toppings, ensuring every bite is exactly how you want it. The soft buns make the entire experience even better.
The atmosphere at J Dawgs is laid-back and welcoming, with friendly staff always ready to help you decide on your perfect dog. The quick service ensures that you can enjoy a tasty meal on the go, but it’s also worth taking the time to sit down and enjoy.
Overall, J Dawgs delivers on all fronts: taste, quality, service, and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you find yourself craving long after your visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

JDwags is a staple to a Provo, and has some very friendly workers. What makes these wieners awesome is the special sauce, which I highly recommend to those having it. It’s a quick order to serve time, and the drink with chips combo is a classic. I recommend the fries as well!

Great place with fairly cheap dawgs and crispy fries. 6 dollars for a fairly large dawg is really fair in my opinion. It’s not fine dining but it knows what niche it serves and it does it well

Beef dog was yummy. Loved how they cooked them. Would love to see more toppings offered other than condiments… like chili or chili and cheese. Maybe some slaw for people who love that, too. Being from Georgia– gotta have chili on my dog!!
But still good, fries were yummy and loved that you serve both Pepsi and Coke!

5 stars for a hot dog place. The fries were fantastic. The special sauce was similar to sweet and sour sauce to me with a hint of clove and brown sugar. I could be totally wrong about it though.
