Stopped here twice. The noodles was a little oily for my liking but tasted good otherwise. The saag paneer felt a little creamy but was good. The naan and rotis were soft. Overall decent place.

I come to Annapurna Nepali and Indian Restaurant every year when I’m in Vail, and it always delivers. The food is consistently amazing—every dish is packed with flavor and you truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I was in town for four nights this trip and ended up eating here twice because it’s just that good. Every time I visit, I leave happy, satisfied, and already excited to come back. Absolutely one of my favorite spots in Vail!

A local recommended this place for lunch and it was so good! All the food we ordered was great. The samosas were packed with filling, and the green sauce was our favorite of the three options they brought out. The vindaloo was spicy and flavorful, chicken and potatoes were tender. The tikki saag was delicious. The garlic naan was soft in parts and crispy in others, it was great. The mango yogurt drinks is AMAZING!! The mango Iced cream, it’s not ice cream, it’s ICED cream. It’s more like layered iced mango and cream, sweet and flavorful. We will definitely be back.

The food here is always to die for! I ate chicken masala and my fiance at the chicken spicy vindaloo. We also got the garlic naan and its always great. I will always recommend this restaurant especially when people ask me for food recommendations nearby when I am at work, since I work at the hospital next door.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a Nepali restaurant in Vail. The staff were incredibly friendly and kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious. We had the momo, paneer, keema naan and chicken curry which were all excellent. They even arranged brownie for my son which was not in the menu. It was such a comforting and flavorful meal after a day in the mountains. Highly recommend.

We had a very disappointing experience here.
Before going, we called to ask if they served halal food. The person who answered—most likely the owner—was extremely rude. He abruptly said, “Only lamb,” and hung up on us.
Despite that, we decided to try the place because we were in the mood for meat. When we arrived, the man at the counter was in a rush and kept saying, “Hurry up, the kitchen is closing,” even though there were still about 30 minutes left. I understand Desi restaurants sometimes close early, but you still need to give your customers a couple of minutes to place an order.
They only had goat curry as a halal option, so I decided to skip meat and went with chana salan and malai kofta instead. Since the kitchen was closing, we ordered tea along with our food.
The food was just okay. The roti was paper-thin and too crispy, not what I expected. The paratha was very disappointing—it seemed like they just poured oil on a regular roti and served it separately.
To top it off, the server forgot our tea. When we reminded him, he casually said, “No issue, one minute,” and brought it out shortly after. Unfortunately, the tea was also not up to the mark.
The restaurant is located inside Evergreen Lodge, with no clear signage outside. You have to walk through the hotel entrance and find it at the far end on the right.
All in all, from the rude phone call to rushed service, forgotten tea, and below-average food, this was a very poor experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for decent food options or basic customer service.

Annapurna is the only Indian food options available in Vail, which makes it convenient when you’re craving Indian cuisine. The food was okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable either. Some dishes were better than others, but overall it felt average.
Service was quite slow, even though the restaurant didn’t seem overly busy at the time. It felt like the place benefits from being in a high-demand area with very limited Indian dining alternatives, rather than standing out for exceptional food or service.
It’s an acceptable option if you’re specifically looking for Indian food in Vail, but there’s definitely room for improvement in both service speed and overall experience.

Don’t keep the high hopes.
Average Indian nepali food.
We tried chicken momos and traditional curry.

If you are looking for some good Indian / Nepali food. This is NOT the place. Firstly the guy who answered my phone hung up on me after he told me what time they are open till. Then we went in there anyway because there is no Indian food around Avon. Ordered chana masala, malai kofta, roti and paratha. As you can see video of paratha and roti. Super hard and doesn’t qualify to be a roti. Malai kofta was ok in taste. The server was kinda rude in the beginning or may be thats just how it goes. They serve halal goat but we didn’t try as they had only curry no biryani. Not sure about their non veg items. They are pricey. But the price just doesn’t justify the taste or the quality. Also its inside a hotel building.

My first time coming here and I have to say this was the best food I’ve had in the Vail valley! Every single thing was amazing!! The owner invited me earlier today when he visited my job and I made it my business to pay them a visit! The staff are all Nepalese and were very kind and accommodating. The ambiance was very nice giving a calm vibe which I appreciated very much agree a long day at work, everything was clean and organized. My favorite thing was the chau chau shrimp it was sooo flavorful and filling, the naan could’ve been eaten alone but it definitely was great with saag paneer and makhani chicken. My boyfriend was very very pleased with the goat curry, it reminded him of Jamaican curry goat which is something he’s been looking for since we moved here. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more things and we’re very excited to do so!
