Went there for a quick lunch and both pricing and the service were great. We ordered and our food was delivered fairly quickly. Everything was freshly made. I personally did not care for the brand of ketchup they use and it sits out on the table-i’m a Heinz ketchup snob.
The burgers were just average. The prices were great considering it’s in a tourist area and my favorite part of my meal was getting some bluebell ice cream for two dollars. It was a very, very generous serving of nice and creamy hand dipped ice cream. Very refreshing and at a great price. Bubbalus had outstanding service and average food in my opinion.
They also charge a dollar just to get a cup of water which I think is too much if you are ordering meals, but they’re overall cost model is extremely competitive for a tourist area so perhaps I don’t need to complain about my one dollar cup of water.
They also have a lot of fun, baseball pictures and memorabilia hanging up. Nice atmosphere. it was great for a quick and fairly priced lunch, but not a place I’d go if I was looking for gourmet food.

I ordered the $6 burger, it’s made to your specifications. I ordered the $4 fries which was easily big enough to share.
It’s a cute place, diner style. You order at the counter and take seat. Your food arrives quickly. Good food, good prices and great service!

I have been going here since I was a little girl and recently in the last year have made it a point to try and go every Saturday with my boyfriend! We absolutely adore the staff and atmosphere at this restaurant! They are so kind and work so hard to make sure the food is fabulous! The BEST Burgers in town hands DOWN and yummy milkshakes! Highly recommend going and trying them out! Lots of menu options and beautiful location! You won’t regret it!

Me and my bf ate here we’re not from the area but the smell drew us in. The burgers are so flavorful and priced so well, my bf got a grilled chicken sandwich and it was super juicy. The bacon was definitely the star or my burger. Everything was priced well, the fried basket that they gave us was massive one order can feed two.

This was absolutely delicious and amazing! Everything is cooked fresh. The food lived up to all the hype. My daughter loves the burger and I was amazed how good the chili dog was. We were spending the weekend in Hot Springs and heard that Bubbalus was pretty famous- when we arrived we were in high hopes as the outside of the restaurant looked exactly what we were hoping for- a classic burger and dog restaurant. It was nice to see all the food being cooked fresh to order as we walked in. However, when we actually got our food, we weren’t that impressed. I ordered the Classy Dog with a side of fries. The fries were unseasoned, and since they had cooled off from the fryer, even when I tried to salt them myself, it didn’t do much good. The Classy Dog just tasted like a simple chili dog, except the bread was torn apart underneath so I had to eat it with a fork and knife and not like a hot dog. It was just all pretty average, and nothing to worthwhile.

Walked by the resturant whilst touring Hot Springs, I had the double burger and onions rings. It was one the best burgers I have had! So juicy and tasty, the o-rings were delicious! I definitely recommend!!
