On 8/20/25 in the afternoon I ordered a cali burrito and some taquitos and the cashier told the cook to burn the fries. The taquitos were cold too. He thought I didn’t speak Spanish and I confronted him. So disappointed because I come in often. So messed up!

Been here forever. Classic Mexican spot. Taquitos are always bomb. Been coming here for years and still tastes great.

I ordered the famous breakfast burrito, EXPECTING the main ingredient to be EGGS WITH bacon, fries and cheese, but it was MOSTLY FRIES . Bummer!! How many eggs are supposed to be in this item?
I have been eating at Albertaco’s since it was in the 1st location in the 80s and this is the 1st time I’ve been disappointed. PS: The place could use some fresh paint, too!

Authentic Mexican cuisine open up late. Large portions for alright prices. Cashier with mustache and short black hair friendly, i got pork tacos. I thought they had too much pico in them but otherwise very good the guac was very good. Bathroom was dirty but then again they were getting to cleaning it. Shrimp Burrito from past visit not the best. Neither am i a big fan of the fries but this was good food and great service today, thank you in JESUS name to the staff.

Wife and I found this place after a long day visiting the hospital up the road. Now this might be our stop when driving thru Orange County. Easy to get to, tasty food, fast service, friendly staff, clean restaurant. I recommend the Mission Viejo burrito (no picture because i ate it too fast)

Okay. I came back to Albertaco’s twice this Labour Day weekend. The remodel looks really nice, the food remains deliciously inexpensive. I haven’t been in awhile but everything tastes how I remember it. It’s good, fast Mexican food. I always get the rolled tacos with sour cream.

I order dinner for pick-up here often and I’ve rarely been disappointed. It’s a “fast food” restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and authentic Mexican cuisine. I always get the delicious breakfast burrito to save for the next morning. The California burritos are excellent as is the Carne Asada burrito. I LOVE their burritos, they’re large and very filling. Don’t miss out on this deliciousness!

Update: I haven’t been here since the pandemic. I’m so happy to say that my recent visit was so yummy. I loved how friendly the staff was. They made my order incredibly fast, maybe 5 minutes, until my order was called. They were busy refilling the homemade salsa bar. And working hard cleaning the restaurant and bathrooms… if you haven’t tired this place, it’s a must. They are open till 2am, which is hard to find in our area

I love that this place is across
from Saddleback College. You’re studying and need some comfort food. It hits the spot. Tonight, I tried a California burrito, yum! The salsa bar has a good mix of different level heat. My favorite is the green one.
