Absolutely blown away by this place. The corned beef was the best I’ve ever had—juicy, tender, and stacked high in true New York–style open-face fashion. The sauerkraut and melted provolone on top took it to another level. I also tried the roast beef sandwich, and it was just as incredible—piled high with tender, flavorful beef. Everything was fresh, bold, and done right. I’ll 100% be back weekly. Highly recommend!

If you have ever stepped foot in a real Manhattan deli, do yourself a favor and stay far away from Deli News. It is honestly baffling that this establishment still displays awards or high ratings. My recent visit was a masterclass in overpricing and culinary incompetence.

I ordered the tuna melt and what arrived was a disaster. In a real NY deli, rye bread comes from a massive, 18-inch oblong loaf. What I was served was a small, pathetic slice that was greasy and barely melted cheese. The tuna itself was a bland, mushy paste with no seasoning. At twenty dollars for a sandwich, you expect quality. Instead, I got that and a side of potato salad that tasted like flavorless mashed potatoes mixed with mayo. It completely lacked the chunky texture and vinegar tang that defines a legitimate New York side dish. To make matters worse, they do not even provide the standard complimentary pickles that are a basic requirement at any real NY deli.

The service was even worse than the kitchen. Our waiter claimed they were out of matzoh ball soup, yet I watched them deliver a bowl to a table that sat down after us. Despite the supposed shortage, they still had the nerve to leave the soup on our final bill. When my dining partner ordered a basic egg breakfast (2 eggs over easy, hash browns, a bagel, and bacon – 5.99 extra for 3 strips) the waiter didn’t even ask what kind of bagel she wanted. In New York, the variety of the bagel is the whole point. What she received was a tiny, bland disappointment that looked like a plain Thomas’ bagel from a grocery store.

The bacon was burned to a crisp and the hash browns were completely underwhelming and soft, no crisp edges. They are charging premium prices for food that feels like a cheap afterthought. Between the rushed service, the incorrect billing, and the greasy, tasteless food, this place is a total scam. Save your forty-plus dollars and go somewhere that actually respects the traditions of a New York deli.

We came in about 30 minutes before closing and they were so kind to accommodate us. The food was delicious! (Although a bit pricey). We had a Philly Cheesesteak and a Pastrami Sandwich — and would definitely recommend both!

I was excited to try an independent sandwich shop. I didn’t find the experience to meet up with the hype. My sandwich had a good quantity of meat, but I kind of felt like I make better sandwiches at home. Maybe dump my bag of chips out onto my plate before the waitress brings it to me would have improved the experience some?

Stopped in for breakfast this morning and ordered ‘The Bob’—everything bagel toasted with nova lox, cream cheese, capers, onions, and veggies. It was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted super fresh, the lox was perfectly sliced and flavorful, and the bagel was spot-on. I also got a side of corned beef, which was tender, juicy, and full of that classic deli taste—highly recommend.
Our server was professional, friendly, and quick to check in. Great service all around. If you’re craving authentic New York-style deli in Dallas, this place delivers. Will definitely be back!

Great N.Y. style deli and a surprise find while visiting the area. The pastrami with liver was incredible. We can’t wait to return.

Walking inside you have that New York deli feel, the hot pastrami and turkey reubens satisfy that craving for deli sandwich. The “wow”is the service which was on point especially with all the changes we/i made. Our waitress was wonderful. I like to say thank you and we will see you soon. The little family.

I miss the east coast for the great delicatessens and seafood options. Deli News gave me a taste of home with the fantastic fresh cut sandwiches and kosher vibes. Large sandwiches, great sides and a large selection of desserts. This was my first visit and it will definitely not be my last! My mom had the chicken salad and it was sooo good! Give Deli News a try if you love a great sandwich and salad.

We were looking for some NY bagels. Looked around & decided to try this out. Well, it’s the real deal. Everything is well thought out & seasoned. The service was top notch. All the food was brought out with a sense of urgency, so it was hot. The only complaint is that the bacon & the potatoes were a limitless salty, but good. We even took bagels home. We’ll be back to try more.
