Sofrito Restaurant was a great experience all around. The trifongo was on point. Amazing flavor and a wonderful texture. Easily a standout dish.
We went as a large group to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday and had a great time. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food, and the service was excellent, especially considering the size of our group.
We would absolutely do it again. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for solid Latin food in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

This was our first time eating here. Overall it was pretty delicious. My husband got the shrimp and pork tacos and I got steak and fish. All were delicious! For appetizer we got the guacamole. Loved! Since everything was good we decided to get deserts….my husband got flan and I had the coconut cake! Like I said overall it was pretty delicious. The staff were friendly. Its definitely a place I will be visiting again.

Such a great restaurant. I swore abuela was in the back cooking the food! The trifongo was so delicious! I love how they removed the pork for us. The guacamole was very fresh but. I wish it had cilantro but that’s just my preference. Shrimp tacos is a yes a for us: The flan was smooth and flavorful and my sisters said their tres leche was equally as good. I wasn’t a fan of the drinks. More sweet than strong. We had the mojitos and margarita, there are no frozen margaritas. Lastly, we need to give a special shout out to Santiago! He knows his menu! Recommended the dishes to us and very knowledgeable of the ingredients. And of course super friendly. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was fairly empty. I wish they played some Spanish music for the vibes but nonetheless please do support this authentic Puerto Rican restaurant. Next time we’re in Greenville we will be back!

I love Cuban food and I’ve been to very good places in Florida. I found the atmosphere to be great here and the food was excellent along with the staff! They were recommended by a waitress at a breakfast place. We had the roasted Mojo pork mofongo. We will be back for Softito’s Paella!

When I lived in Tallahassee, 20+ years ago, Gordo’s was the restaurant to go for an authentic Cuban sandwich.
Sofrito’s Cuban sandwich is definitely as good as Gordo’s.

My husband and I had a craving for Latin food, but we didn’t want our regular go to Mexican restaurant. We have passed by Sofrito Restaurant before but our kids have a pretty bland pallet so we knew it would have to be a date night kind of evening before we could visit, and we finally at the opportunity! And it did not disappoint. My husband had the Ribeye Steak Board and I had the Grilled Chicken A La Plancha, and we both enjoyed a Mojito. Everything, and I mean everything, even down to the cream corn, was amazing. His Ribeye was cooked perfectly, and my chicken was tender. Both dishes were incredible, but I will definitely be getting the Ribeye board next time we visit. It truly was one of the most amazing meals we have eaten out in a long time. Oh, and don’t let me forget the service! Our server was Donya, and she was very attentive and patient. We highly recommended paying Sofrito a visit!
