This restaurant has an absolutely delicious menu and charming outdoor dining patio. We went for lunch on a Monday and were blown away by everything on the menu. We started with a mushroom bisque that was so good. Entrees were a potato gnocchi with shrimp, artichoke & heirloom tomatoes and a Pork Belly, cucumber & scrapple sandwich on fresh local sourdough bread. For dessert we had the flourless chocolate torte. OMG we felt like we had gone to culinary heaven. Our server was very friendly and super nice. We can not wait to go back. Thank you for such a great lunch.

We went off the beaten path of Rt 50 going to Ocean City and stopped in Berlin. Go to Berlin. This small town that has quite a selection of shops, dining, pubs and bars, and some Maryland History. We grabbed a late lunch at Blacksmith. Very cool place with a super friendly staff. Ask for recommendations and Chef Specials. Trust Me. Enjoy

We ate outside on the covered patio with our husky mix and the vibe was fun! The staff was so friendly and caring towards our girl. Brought her a water bowl and acknowledged her. The food was great and very vegan/allergen friendly.

Wow. Really good…rich tasting…full of flavour food. I got shrimp risoto, husband got flat iron steak, mom got shrimp and grits, and dad got short ribs. All meals were delicious, and for desert mom and dad had fried banana cheesecake and my husband and I shared a chocolate torte….both delicious. I would strongly recommend stopping by this gem if you visit ocean city md

Delicious food! 8.5/10 in my book. The local bookshop owner recommended this restaurant to us. I would not have been able to find this spot on my own. The crab cake sandwich is something else indeed. The interior design is real atmospheric as well.

I am in love with Blacksmith! This is one of my favorite restaurants on the Eastern Shore. I love the food, the decor, and the time and care the owners have obviously committed to making it a wonderful dining experience. Every meal has been outstanding. Crispy crab deviled eggs: deliciously unique. They fry each one to attain a crispy outside coating that is crunchy – and a perfect balance of crab and egg make these memorable enough to ask for the recipe! It’s like somehow the perfect French fry was mated with the perfect deviled egg!

The burger is a little ordinary but solid and enjoyable.
Crab cakes are delish, but lack something to hold the crab cake together. Don’t get me wrong — the crab tastes great! Potatoes Anna come in the side and taste like scalloped potatoes (which I am a fan of) so all good there.
Highly recommended for a good dinner:)

Visited Blacksmith for lunch on a summer weekday. The place has a really good vibe and welcoming servers. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Our server was enthusiastic and was ready to help us with explaining the items on the menu. We ordered vegetable samosa, homestyle Mac and cheese, Rockfish tacos and house burger.
The food was well presented but flavor wise it was a bit disappointing. Certainly they can get better at the flavors considering that it is located in a tourist town. They do have a full size bar, though. Overall, a decent family friendly place.
