Travel a lot and eat at a lot of cafes, diners, restaurants etc and by far I think this has been the best place we have ever eaten breakfast! First it has a cozy yet open atmosphere. Service was top notch even with our waitress having to run around like crazy. Now let’s talk about the food, most places the eggs are just a side dish, not here, the eggs were perfectly fluffy and cooked to perfection and actually tasty. Hash browns, perfect! Grits were delicious, sausa gravy heavily and biscuits amazing! Now the best part was the chicken fried steak! I’ve eaten hundreds if not thousands chicken fried steak and this one was the best! Light and crispy fry and tasty tender beef! Heaven!

We drove by on our way to Springfield and noticed the lot was FULL for breakfast. Took a mental note that we needed to check it out for lunch. This place was a 10/10 experience. Friendly staff, large portions, delicious food. I got the chopped sirloin and it was excellent, nota single complaint from anyone at the table!

We have stopped in to have a meal a couple times before. Have had a different food dish each time and have found, so far, that all dishes are delicious and desirable. We stopped in again yesterday. Looked at the diverse menu and decided to splurg a little. We ordered and had the ribeye dinner meal and it was awesome. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides were excellent as well. Excellent food, great prices, good service. I totaly recommend this eatery for your dinning pleasure. Awesome sauce I reckon!!!

Oh my! I was hungry when I stopped in, but goodness, this food was incredible! I got the tenderloin sandwich with onion rings. These were the best onion rings I’ve ever had. Everything was hand breaded, and fried to perfection. I would drive from Springfield just for the onion rings! The house ranch was as good as it gets as well!

Is there an option for 100 stars? Their food was really good, staff were very welcoming and enjoyable to be around. My waitress was funny and engaging. Prices were fair, gift shop was a small section. My only complaint is they had a wider desert option and served mac and cheese, other then that my friend and I really enjoyed our experience if we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely drop by!

The service was awful…. it took 10 minutes for our order to be taken. I used to beaserver myself and understand when its busy its busy. However, people being sat after us were getting orders taken before us. We ordered our drinks 2 orange juices and 2 waters. We got our drinks then placed food orders. When we finally did order our food which was a bacon and cheese omelet with hash browns and a sausage and cheese omelet with hashbrowns and a cinnamon roll. After 20 minutes only the cinnamon roll came out. It took 45 minutes and complaining about others sitting orsering and receiving food all after weplaced our order. Other servers finally brought the food. The bacon omelet was just falling apart and looked like it was just thrown around. The sausage omelet came 5 minutes later and didn’t even have melted cheese. I included a photo. The food was not as good as expected. I never the whole time got offered a water refill. Server walked by 3 times with an empty water glass at the end of my table. When the server finally came back to the table an hour later asked for refills but we were done and just wanted the bill. I asked if yherewasanything they could do bc of this horrible experience they said no because they were “too busy” the servers quote. I asked about a veteran discount they said ya the drinks are free. Haha the orange juices were 45 minutes old by the time the food came they weren’t even good to drink anymore and were warm. They should have been free anyway. So I paid full price for an awful experience horrible serviceand half cooked food and got told because they were busy we basically didnt matter anymore and was just a number. This is an awful feeling leaving this establishment I will never be back…I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST!!!!!!

Going out of my way to write a review for this. food was topnoch, their valentine’s day special delivered more than I was even expecting. And personally, I am a person that is very picky on my stakes. Their ten ounce ribeye, whenever you tell them blue, they actually know what it is and followed through. Above and beyond what I expected. Would come back here a million more times if given the opportunity. Also our server Hannah took excellent care of us and made the entire experience even more enjoyable!

We celebrated my husband‘s 70th birthday and ended up with around 70 guest. The staff took care of us and it was a Saturday night and they rocked. The food was good. The atmosphere was good if you’re needing to have a party for a big group of people you need to go see them at Gateway. Thanks to all of them for taking care of us. Denver had a ball.
