The waiters are never smiling. When we said we wanted to pay by card they answered “oh, are you sure, it would be better in cash”. Well, it was not written anywhere that the restaurant did not accept cards (which they actually do), and for the price we paid we anyway did not have the cash available.
We will not go back I’m afraid.
Service is great, atmosphere is okayish.
Location is very good, right next to the Rhejn Neckarstraße Tram station.
Surely recommended if you want to visit an Indian restaurant in Darmstadt!
Super food
Just a little upscale
Great place for party
Neat and tidy restaurant
I have to says it’s the best Indian restaurant in town so don’t try others just come here.
The owner and the staff all are super friendly as well
we ordered a number of dishes for take away like Palak paneer, chicken tikka and butter chicken. The veggies served with the chicken tikka dish are definitely deep frozen ready made veggies (see photo). The spinach used for the palak paneer seem to be equally ready made deep frozen spinach which in our view is actually a no go. On a lighter note the naan bread and butter chicken was ok although not great.
We tried gemischte Vorspeise as a starter chicken Balti and Gosht Biryani as main dish and Pista Kufli Eis and Ras Malai as dessert.
Starter was a mixed of cheese pakora, onion pakora, samosa and gobi pakora which was served with three tasty sauces.
Both main dishes were spicy.
Ras Malai is a dough soaked in cream flavoured with cardamom, saffron and pistachio.
We had the Thalimenu Non.Veg, Chicken Saag,Garlic Naan and Samosas.Plus Pepsi and Mangolassi
