Good milk tea. Unfortunately it’s not adjustable at all so it’s required sugar. You can remove the boba.
Great flavor. $6.

We got the egg omelette with fried chicken. It’s 4 pieces of karaage on top of a Japanese omelette over rice. It’s served with what I think was a cup of miso. Or something similar. The chicken was pretty good. It’s dark meat. The omelet was good too. Overall it was a bit bland, but much preferable to too much salt. I’d get it again. We snagged a spot by the window so we got to eat with a view of the skyline, but it’s busy so don’t count on it

If you’re heading to Mitsuwa, make sure to carve out some time to try Tokyo Hanten. We had the Teriyaki Hamburger with rice—it’s a solid meal, and for the price, you really get good value.
I tried it a few years ago and remember the meat being a bit better back then, but it’s still a tasty and satisfying option. Worth checking out if you’re in the food court!

Excellent value for item #30, you get two giant patties, fried rice and soup for $15.99. Service is fast and presentable for fast-food. The karaage was superb as well.

Been coming to this restaurant for 7 or so years from New York or on my way entering New York from visiting New Jersey. Always been stellar but I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon. The food is decent. Especially if your into the Japanese style hamburg served over fried rice. The fried rice doesn’t have much flavor but acceptable for the price. The models of the food displaying on the wall of the restaurant aren’t 100 percent honest. Those are a model of steak…what you get is a “hamburger patty”. So it’s a bit smaller. Aside from the food, the service has always been acceptable until today. The Asian young man with glasses at the register was rude. Spoke extremely quietly and when asked to repeat themselves, he glared. Made his job easier when I told him I wanted it “for here” and he wasn’t paying attention and sounded like he hated the world and asked me if I wanted it for here or to go. When the food finally came and there was multiple orders at the register, he did not direct the customers and he sounded annoyed expecting the customers to know which order was which when some looked similar.
Please discipline your employees, because this is how you lose valued your customers.

THE NOODLES HERE ARE NOT EDIBLE!
Ordered noodle from this place, and got something that’s harder than the raw instant noodle. The noodles are so hard and dry, and when I give it back, the cashier cannot even break it with her hands.
One of the cashier was nice and reasonable enough to offer to take it back and give a refund, the other one cashier, totally not making sense, yells at her: why you agree to take it back?
Totally unbelievable

Update: Since COVID-19, like many of the other shops in the food court, they are now taking all forms of credit card payments including contactless. Food is still pretty soild and service is pretty fast. You can choose to takeout or dine in. They also offer delivery via Grubhub now.
Original review:
Japanese style Chinese food. Located in the Mitsuwa Marketplace food court. It’s decent but there are better options here, like Santouka Ramen or Hannosuke. It’s cash only and they offer take away.

Located in the Mitsuwa food court, Tokyo Hanten is surrounded by many great eaterys. The portions are large, and their prices are reasonable. I have eaten their Hamburg steak and Gyoza many times now and I can confidently say it is consistently good. On my most recent visit I tried their chicken and omelet, which I found very enjoyable.
My only negitives are the parking and seating at Mitsuwa. If it’s your first time going you’ll need to be patient.

Definitely the best food that I have gotten from a supermarket. The wait was long, but so worth it.
I loved the fired shrimp with the mayo along with the omelette and rice. The shrimp is perfectly breaded with a nice amount of crunch and creaminess. The subtly tangy mayo goes so well with the rice and egg. I loved my dish. The hamburger patty with rice was also so good. The hamburger was so flavorful and juicy. I ended up ordering two dishes instead of one because of how good it was.

Been going to Mitsuwa for years and have never tried this place. Glad I gave it a chance today.
The crab omelette with ground pork and gravy really hit the spot. It sounds like a strange combination but everything works well together. The whole dish is very filling.
The side salad with a bit of seaweed, onions, and dressing is nice and refreshing. The soup is a nice hit of salt after everything, brining the meal together.
Don’t be afraid to go to one of these other restaurants: you don’t need to just have ramen every time!
