The location is okay; however, I would definitely drop its cleanliness level down a peg. The cups they brought for drinks had specks of dirt (thankfully on the outside), the waiter came back in from a break completely smelling of weed, and the silverware had splotches from dried-on soap residue. The food was okay, although I wouldn’t recommend ordering a salad from this location; it’s much better at the other. This location definitely took inspiration from a pizza bar on how to make one. I definitely would say to go to the other location they have for the restaurant over this one.

I have eaten here for about 15 years in the Sandhills. The customer satisfaction is non-existent. I ordered chicken Lo Mein for lunch which I always order but on this day it was different. The portion size was fine the taste was okay but the issue was it was all chicken and onions. When I asked if they could provide me with some noodles (the main ingredient in Lo Mein) as the portion they provided was lacking they wanted to charge me rather than honor a simple request considering I eat here often, always get the same thing and have always enjoyed it. Very disappointing. I didn’t complain about the extra greasy runny wontons or the over fried egg roll that had an old grease taste. Coming from a previous background in customer service, this made no sense to me. Needless to say I doubt I will return. The waitress wanted so bad to make it right but the manager did not. They seriously need to rethink their customer service interactions if they want happy returning, regular customers. I’ve been to very few restaurants where they would not make it right for the customer to get what they ordered so they would want to return.

I’ve ordered from them 4 times, orders always include sushi/rolls. 2/4 times I’ve been given inedible seafood. Once was uncooked shrimp in their tempura roll, and two days ago the spicy tuna roll had tuna that had gone so bad it was white instead of pink. It smelled and tasted rotten too.
They need quality control and better ingredients, especially if they’re charging $9 for simple rolls.
I kept ordering from them because of lack of options in the area, but I’m done paying for sub par quality.

My wife and I had an early dinner here on Wednesday. We love this restaurant. The main gentleman up front was very welcoming. Our waitress was great and attentive. Definitely try the red bowl ultimate combo appetizer. It has a nice variety for two people. Our main two dinner portions were large. Can’t wait for our next visit.

On 3/7/26, visited Red Bowl Asian Bowl twice. The first time, the young lady told me the food was not ready. There were 2 bags behind her. She didn’t check them. I waited 10 minutes. She asked me again the orders name. She looked at the bags. My bag was one of the two bags that had been sitting there. Very poor service!
The second time, another young female was at the counter. I asked about my order. She was doing others things and asked me to wait. I waited a few minutes. She came back to the counter. Asked my order name. She started to look at the bags behind her. Another Asian employee interrupted her. She stopped looking at the bags and listened to the Asian female. I interrupted and asked if I could get my food. The other Asian female looked for order. Other things are more important than the customer. Poor customer service.
Jay is the best person who works at that desk! Friendly, welcoming, very attentive to your needs, EXCELLENT service! Manager/owner should let Jay teach some of the other employees how to service/take care of customers.

Happy I checked out the sushi at this place. Prices were good and I went during happy hour which made the prices even better. The salmon skin roll was good but I definitely preferred the 88 roll. The cream cheese wontons were good but some of them weren’t fully heated in the middle.
Also for the happy hour you have to be sitting at the bar or the sushi bar. The service was great and the place was nice.

We have eaten at Red Bowl twice in the last month. It’s okay. The food is decent, the service is decent. I’ll go back for sure. We really like the “box” option on the menu, which allows you to get a little bit of everything. I got sushi, which is always good. No complaints, although the first time, service was extremely slow. Second time was better.

The food was horrible. The rice was cold and sticky with no taste. The shrimp bread with soft and wet . I tried to eat the food because I was hungry before I could finish it. My stomach was hurting so bad.. Lawdy I had to stay in the restroom about two hours. I have a strong stomach and that food was all that I had eaten. I ordered DoorDash and it was the bento box $20 for the food and $8 for delivery ,. I’m so piss . Don’t usually leave reviews but this was unacceptable. I didn’t get a picture because i wasn’t gone leave a review. I changed my mind

I really am not here to bash on anyone at the establishment because redbowl is my favorite place and I eat there all the time but this is the first time it’s ever happened. So I ordered for pick up and my sister went to grab the food. When she came home with it I began to unpack the food and the small containers of sauce were stacked on top of each other. When I went to go take them off of one another they were stuck, and I was confused so I used both hands to take them apart and the lid from the one on the bottom was melted to the one of the top. Pieces of plastic fell into the sauce and as I was eating I almost ate a few pieces unknowingly as I did not see them. Not sure who was working or who thought it would be a good idea to put such a hot container of sauce on another with a thin plastic lid only being between but I’m super disappointed.

Stopped for lunch this afternoon. I tried the Ma-la Chicken with basil and my spouse had Spicy Thai basil chicken, both were fine. However neither had any Thai basil. The flavors were not bad, but the vibe red bowl gives is more like a Chilis than a hole in the wall family run authentic Asian place. Lunch prices were fine for the portion amount and egg roll on the side. Server was also just fine, so 4 stars for overall fine-ness.
