Great place to get a home style meal on the fly. As tourists, we were in and out in less than 20 minutes. We came in not long before closing. That’s the only reason I can give for the “stop looking at the selection and hurry up” attitude. The baked chicken was great as was the broccoli salad. The black eyed peas needed seasoning in the worst way. The sweet tea wasn’t overly sweet. Perfect as is the Southern way. Okay in an elevated fast casual way

This place is fantastic! The food is hot, fresh, very tasty, I had the baked chicken hubby had the smothered pork both tender and full of flavor. The sides were great too and so many choices! Vera our server was absolutely the best! All smiles, helpful, checked on us, the service was better than many other resteraunts we frequent. All of the staff were kind and helpful. recommend and it is so worth it! Will be coming back very soon

I am most certainly never disappointed when I eat here!! I love coming here so much! The staff here are very friendly and this place gives a homely Southern type vibe. The food is amazing! This was my second time coming here and I was able to try the crabmeat stuffed fish, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cabbage with a roll. It was so good and very well seasoned! You get a lot for a very reasonable price!! I have no complaints about this place here! I recommend this place to anyone! I wish they had one near Virginia Beach because I’d definitely be there more often! I look forward to coming here again!

Door dash delivered cold food. I called and the spoke to a manager, called door dash then another Manager Ms. L i am not gonna butcher name called me we spoke i told her where I was and that id walk and get some hot food later due to door dash mess up.

I go to this restaurant about three times a month because the food is normally good and the waitresses are exceptional. However my last visit was very unpleasant. The liver was very tough. Evidently it had sat under the heat too long. I couldn’t cut it with the knife I had . I was told that if I wanted to substitute it would cost 2 extra dollars even though I’d never even cut through it. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

It’s simple not worth the price anymore. Your serving size is noticeably small for an adult. Asking for a full serving has to be approved from a manager. The baked chicken had blood running inside & was not completely cooked. I wasn’t offered anything of equal value nor was I offered the price difference. Your dessert is served in styrofoam instead of a plate for dine in. I won’t patronize again.

We left church and visited Piccadilly’s(Hampton VA.) and there was a long line but it moved very quickly. Seating was plentiful and the staff was very professional. I had turkey and stuffing and my wife had the liver, onions and gravy with rice.
