Just what we needed this morning, small diner with nice staff, delicious food, and hot coffee ☕️ On our way back from a ski weekend with the family, and wanted a nice diner breakfast, so we found this place, and I’m really glad we did. Wasn’t far off our route and made for a perfect Sunday morning breakfast for 8 of us. Will absolutely visit again on our travels into the Poconos!

My wife and I make it a point to hit local diners and roll with the good and bad because we appreciate the good food and nostalgia of a time gone or perhaps soon gone.
This diner was no exception. We were nearby and looking for somewhere to grab a sort of lunch, sort of not dinner meal.
The diner has a fairly old demographic entering and exiting. They all seemed content and well fed.
The staff barely cracks a smile, no matter how polite or seemingly charming and funny you are.
These small town diners never, ever seem too receptive to non regulars, which I never will understand.
The food was diner good. It’s not something that I will remember or have a burning to desire to return to in a few weeks, sadly.
I still say 5 stars because the French onion soup was very good.

Stopped in for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. Home cooked taste and very friendly servers that would check up on you. I would recommend this place and for the price, you can’t go wrong

If you want a good old-fashioned diner with diner food this is the place.

And I haven’t had shepherd’s pie in decades and on this bone showing day that really hit the spot.

Service pleasant and quick. I would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

Places like this are so rare now. Good value, simple dishes, inexpensive, great service. Definitely check it out.

I’ve only been there once for breakfast. The food was bland, I mean ZERO seasoning. I ordered corned beef hash and eggs, it came with home fries. The potatoes and eggs were floating in some sort of margarine flavored oil, no salt, pepper, nothing. The corned beef was unidentifiable. The potatoes weren’t cooked, the eggs i ordered sunny side up, they were cooked almost clean through from one side. The prices were good and the service was too, but the food was a dumpster fire at best. My wife ordered the scrapple, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. She ordered the potatoes extra crispy, the potatoes were barely cooked and the scrapple extra crispy.

Great down home cooking like you remember as a kid. Typical diner fare with quality and love baked in! They had creamed dry beef over home fries, done just like I like it. They even did the home fries extra crispy like I asked. Boy do I miss this type of restaurant where I live now. Keep up the good work!

As far as diners go, it wasn’t that great. You can tell the place is more for locals because they don’t have any options. The staff was friendly. French onion and chicken noodle soups were good. As far as the actual meals, not great. Haddock was small and flavorless. My wife had fried shrimp. They looked undercooked on the inside. She didn’t eat them. Was brought to the cooks attention who said that is how they are. You would think the waitress or manager would have offered to deduct the cost of the meal or at least a discount since it wasn’t eaten.

A great local diner with a solid breakfast at an excellent price. Eggs, home fries, meat, toast, and coffee for less than $10 is hard to find these days, but you can still find it here. And the smoked country sausage gets a special recommendation.
