J&J offers a very diverse menu, with options for all sorts of tastes. Every single one of those options is extremely well priced and offers a ton of food. The fried green beans are my personal favorite appetizer, while the smoked brisket wrap is my favorite main course. The service here is incredible with the staff being very friendly, fast, and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was casual and friendly. Overall if you are in the area you should 100% stop by.

I ordered hoagies by phone for takeout. Consequently no rating of the atmosphere. On my initial call, I agreed to be put on hold. 71/2 mmin later I called a second time and successfully placed the order. The cheese steak is the best to be found outside of Philadelphia. J&J includes a generous portion of beef and many options for toppings. Italian hoagies ate equally large in size – lots of meat and cheese. Today mine had a shortage of lettuce and dressing but oh, those meats! Beer afficianados will love this place. Also great for telemaniacs. Screens everywhere. Go.

I dined here and the service was excellent! The waiter we had was very attentive. They have an extensive draft menu, so that is a plus! I enjoyed my cider. Our food was OK, my mom’s burger came out overcooked but she said it tasted good. I have the buffalo Mac and cheese and it needed some more seasoning. I would return but I will try a different meal. We also ordered the Philly cheese steak egg rolls which were not very good and filled with green peppers which were not in the description.

This was first visit since they relocated to this hot spot in Dallas, PA. I liked the beer menu and found a beer I enjoyed enough that I took a 6 pack home. I really liked the soup my wife got and it was something I wish I ordered as well.
Food was good, kids enjoyed it, and I will go back and try the 2 other things I wanted as well.
Known for their sandwiches. They do give huge portions which is mind blowing.
Half a hoagie is a normal hoagie/sub anywhere else….Insane!!!

J&J’s used to be a weekly stop for me, but recently the quality of the food as been super inconsistent. Front of house staff are amazing, all super friendly and do their job well. However, my last takeout order is probably going to be my last. I know the restaurant has been having a hard time maintaining kitchen staff for a while now, but it seems to be at a tipping point. I ordered a burger and fries, half pound of bites (my go-to), and a wrap.
Wrap seemed to be ok, but the rest was a disaster. Bites were cooked, but the outside wasn’t crispy at all and they seemed to be tossed in just whatever sauce was leftover on the sides of the bowl. Fries were not done AT ALL, a few were even still hard. Burger was cooked properly, but no flavor and the whole thing was wet, I’m guessing from the fries.
I loved coming here and will likely still check in from time to time, but I really hope they can get their kitchen in order again. It’s hard to justify spending 30-40$ just to gamble with if you’re going to have to throw half of it away.

Colton made our visit 10 stars. He was so kind – every time he checked in, he read the table and vibe to anticipate what we’d need. He is also SO good with kids and made us feel welcome despite the kids running around like maniacs during Christmas Eve It was the perfect place to meet friends during the holidays and grab beer on the way out at their to-go section. The menu has a large selection and everyone enjoyed their food. We will definitely be back!

So. My issues with this place people might laugh at. And maybe its just me. There is way too much food. You may think thats a great thing, buy if you dont have 6 kids to feed with it at home, or want to eat the same hoagie for the next 5 days its rough.
I got the tuna and just didnt like it. Something changed about it. Ended up throwing it away by day 4 realizing even 2 of us could never eat that much. Sometimes too much is just too much and we have gone there a lot because its close. But the last time decided it was the last time.

Great little place – think bar food + delicious. Your “bar food” favorites that are actually tasty and cooked well.
Between us we had mini tacos and onion rings for appetizers, BLC (BLT subbing out the tomato for cucumber), BBQ chicken wings, and a sandwich.
Nothing was overcooked. It was all fresh. I appreciated them being able to customize food to our requests without any issues (like adding mayo and cucumber to our daughter’s sandwich). Service was pretty good too.
The only disappointing part was they were out of the meat for the sandwich we originally wanted. We were also told food would take about an hour when we first arrived, but it didn’t seem like it took that long.
