Uchi Wynwood exceeded every expectation. I tried the happy hour omakase, priced around $60 per person if I’m not mistaken, and it was an incredible value for the experience. The quality and freshness of the fish were outstanding, each course beautifully executed and thoughtfully paced. Service was attentive and polished without feeling rushed, and the cocktails were just as impressive as the food. Everything, from flavors to presentation, was spot on. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Wynwood, and I can’t wait to return.

I had such a wonderful experience at Uchi! The food was amazing as always every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was pleasant and thoughtfully prepared, making the entire meal feel special from start to finish.

We were celebrating a birthday, and the extra touches from the staff truly made the evening memorable. Those little details meant so much and showed how much care the team puts into creating a great experience.

A special compliment to the host, who was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Their warm attitude set the tone for the night and made us feel right at home. Uchi never disappoints, and we can’t wait to come back!

My son and I had lunch here while visiting Miami. The overall experience was excellent. Restaurant had an upscale-hip-modern vibe. We did the price fixe lunch with other items à la carte and everything was excellent. We started with a salmon crudo and had the Uchi burger, Chirashi bowl, yellowtail roll, and salmon roll as entrees. The sushi was very fresh and other items were very flavorful with unique taste profiles. For dessert, we had the seasonal sorbet which was fabulous – one scoop of coconut sorbet with coconut crunchies at the bottom drizzled with a light glaze. My only complaint was the wait between dishes seemed very long. I don’t like to sit for a 105 min lunch so it just felt too long. I’m from NY and want to be in and out in under 60 min. Overall, food was terrific and would highly recommend.

Extraordinary! This was my first time at Uchi, and we went specifically for happy hour and ended up absolutely loving the place.

They preserve traditional Japanese ingredients and techniques while adding clever fusion innovations that elevate Japanese/Asian cuisine to the next level.

The service was friendly, and every plate was delivered with a clear description, which showed the servers’ knowledge and attention to detail. The space has the perfect balance of warm wood and natural furniture, low lighting, and a really cozy, inviting atmosphere.

For appetizers, we started with the Sake Toro Crudo, which was really fresh and tasty, with bright fruity flavors and a nice ginger kick. The Hama Chilli is a must-have, the perfect combination of fresh fish, citrus, and spice.

I got the burger, and wow, it was really tasty, I’d say one of the best burgers I’ve ever tried. The fries that came with it were spot-on: crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.

My wife went for the Karaage bowl, and the chicken had the perfect amount and level of sweetness and spicy.

The dessert was lime sorbet, which we loved.

Can’t wait to come back.

This was an incredible experience for tastings of different fish. Their menu is very elaborate and their dishes are very well thought out in reference to the combinations and pairings they put together. Their cocktails were pretty enjoyable. Our favorite dishes had to be the flounder and brisket, they were so flavorful and the brisket melted in my mouth. Service was extraordinary, they were very cautious about our allergies. Definitely an amazing experience

Uchi Miami delivered an unforgettable night truly a party in my mouth. Having lived many years in Japan, I’m particular about Japanese cuisine, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. The vibe was energetic, loud in a fun way, with waiters dancing around and creating a lively atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. I went for the Omakase experience, and every course (10) was beautifully balanced and full of flavor. The sake selection was excellent and paired perfectly with the dishes. Our waiter, Alessio, was outstanding. His energy, attention, and knowledge really elevated the experience. Later we met Dante, another great waiter who kept the positive momentum going.
All around, it was a fantastic evening. Amazing food, great service, and a vibe that makes Uchi Miami stand out. Highly recommended!

Lunch review: 10/10 across the board for Uchi.

We couldn’t get a walk-in table for dinner so decided to make lunch reservations.

I liked the lunch vibe way more than what I saw for dinner. Far more laid back, relaxed, less crowded, and attentive service.

The plates err on the slightly smaller side but they’re great for sharing if you get a bunch to try a lot of different dishes.

The ube shima non-alcoholic drinks were super good, and they had specific specials for lunch like the chirashi bowl and chocolate cake which were also very good.

Everything we got was amazing including the uchi gem lettuce, crunchy tuna roll, and crispy rice with mushrooms.

Uchi is a bit on the pricier side, but it is fine dining at the end of the day. The atmosphere is on point and I would absolutely come back again.

Please know that when I say 5 stars, I really mean infinite stars. This place was beyond my expectations. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with lovely hostesses and then were sat at the sushi counter (highly recommend booking the sushi counter if making a ressie) where the sushi chef takes your order and recommends amazing selections throughout your dinner. We started with two of each tuna piece to start and from there, Uchi proceeded to ruin all other sushi places for us. The fish was incredibly fresh, melt in your mouth and flavorful. We recently went to Japan in November and let me tell you, this place easily could have been located there. We will absolutely be back. It was a little on the pricier side for dinner but it looks like they have amazing lunch options if you’re looking to eat amazing sushi within a budget. Don’t skip this place!!! Oh and their drinks were 10/10 too!
