Highly recommend this restaurant! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a charming Japanese vibe that feels both warm and cozy, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The atmosphere is thoughtfully designed and very inviting.
The food quality truly stands out. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. The nigiri, Hamachi carpaccio were especially impressive. The fish was thick, fresh, and flavorful, paired perfectly with just the right amount of rice. Each bite felt balanced and satisfying.
Overall, this is a wonderful spot for anyone who appreciates authentic Japanese cuisine, great ambiance, and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to others!

Two words: Local Deliciousness. You know you’re from the area when you come to Momo Sushi. A quaint and friendly sushi night here or as take-out will always leave you happy. Staff is friendly, sincere, and helpful. Food is as good as it comes around the area.

I popped by this sushi shop after seeing the reviews on google maps, and boy, did they deliver. I tried their chirashi bowl, which comes with a salad and miso soup. The salad and miso soup were both refreshing and comforting. I loved that they used sesame dressing on the salad, and the miso soup was delicious as well. I chirashi was beautifully presented, with generous cuts of various sashimi that melted in your mouth. They also had some side dishes like seaweed salad, some kind of bamboo shoot dish, and a cucumber dish which complimented the sashimi well. I left so full and completely satisfied with my meal☺️

Delicious. Friendly staff despite being so busy! Very cool atmosphere and decorations. My only regret is that we ate too fast. Miso soup was really nice. Our favorite was the baby octopus sushi. I can’t remember which roll was which except the Maryland roll with real crab meat – my husband loved it but it was a little bland for me. I guess I like more pizzazz – I’m far from an expert though.

This is the best sushi spot in Alexandria in my opinion. Not only do they have some of the most interesting and delicious rolls (Lion King and French Maki are two personal faves) the people who work there are some of the friendliest and most generous staff I’ve ever interacted with. Momo always goes above and beyond and this is the sushi spot I’ll keep coming back to.
