The place has a classic diner vibe with a nice outdoor patio. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.
The only downside was that the tables weren’t very clean, and the menu they gave us was very old and dirty – we really didn’t expect that, and honestly, it gave us a bad first impression.
Still, the food was so good that we’ll definitely be coming back.
This was our second time coming to Fire Sign for breakfast this week — that’s how much we loved it!
Once again, everything was fantastic: the food was delicious, the service was warm and friendly, and the whole experience was just great.
Highly recommend!
We ordered their specials – pulled pork sandwich and cowboy benedict (eggs bene on southern biscuits), gravy and biscuits, fire sign crepes. I loved the specials, the pulled pork plus apple slaw and fluffy bread, very delish!
Parking is okay, there’s more parking towards the back of the restaurant.
Would recommend and come again when we’re in Tahoe!
Loved our time here and would definitely come back. Terrific service as well. There’s a beautiful beach right across the street too if you have to wait a bit for a table.
First of all — they open at 9 a.m., and that alone deserves applause because most “breakfast” spots in Tahoe town somehow open at 11 (??). Like, hello, I’m starving by then!
The staff were super polite and quick — found us a table right away and brought our food fast. Service: 10/10.
I ordered Eggs Benedict with potatoes and coffee, and it honestly tasted like comfort on a plate. The eggs were soft and velvety, the sauce perfect — like someone made it with love. The potatoes — golden, crispy, and full of flavor, not the boring oily cubes you usually get.
And the coffee! ☕️ I’m very picky with coffee, but this one easily gets a 9/10 — rich, aromatic, just strong enough.
My husband ordered scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuit, and a blueberry waffle — everything looked and smelled fresh and homemade.
If I could add one tiny thing, it would be a side salad option — just to balance all the yumminess.
And the check? Totally fair for the quality. Considering how good everything tasted — we both left full, happy, and impressed.
Everything felt fresh, real, and cooked with heart ❤️ — not industrial or rushed. This breakfast made my whole day.
