Ordinary night, went to mcds in a pinch no one wanted to make anything for dinner. Positive experience all around. Drive thru was timely, window and food service window were both polite individuals, waited patiently for hot fries. Got home order was correct, everyone got the food and drink they wanted for four folks and it was delicious and appreciated. Appreciate the good service tonight from those who were working.

Sometimes it’s fast. Sometimes it’s slow. Sometimes their coffees and sweet teas are too sweet or coffees to burn your mouth hot, but overall, the food tastes good. I love worker Scott, who is very friendly, a good worker, and does everything well. It’s often a very busy location but really good overall and I love the prices and the app.
Both Roslyn and Scotty are excellent. They work hard and all my friends who go to McDonald’s love both workers, as they are friendly, hard workers and have become my friends because they are often there when I am. The managers are kind and caring too.
However, my water from the fountain tasted like soap bubbles so I couldn’t drink it. Their iced coffee didn’t taste like French vanilla. Only a little bit. Their coffee was still good overall though.

Why is it I rather go to Hillcrest location closer to where I use to live, then this one that’s literally right down the street. If I pay for a large with light ice, please don’t hand me a drink that looks like someone took a big sip out of it. And when I’m sitting in line for all of 15 minutes, I shouldn’t have old food! This is like the third or fourth time, I give up on this location …seriously!

I’ve never gone inside. I live right down the road and order breakfast using the app a few times a month. In the 18 months I’ve lived here, I think I’ve received the correct order twice. Why do I keep trying, hoping? I do not know. lol. A few times, I have waited at the window for over 5 minutes while the girls inside stand 10 feet away just socializing. I can’t say how much I wish I had moved to Urbana. It’s nirvana compared to Springfield.

Doordashed some food to prepping for the holiday ordered a bacon double quarter pounder I got no bacon And only one piece of meat my daughter ordered two plain cheeseburgers Both of them had onions on them ordered a coca cola slushie and got a blue slushie. There was nothing on my order right which is bad because multiple people make this so my assumption would be poor management also, if you order off the mcdonald’s app, you cannot complain about it on the app. Just sad don’t offer DoorDash if you can’t do it right?

The truth is, I’ve never gotten inconsistent service so much from any other restaurant that I finally chose to leave a review. This is now the 2nd review I’ve given for this McDonald’s location.
I don’t understand it! So if it’s me, please explain and I’ll gladly admit my mistake and remove the review. I can attest to the last 3 visits I’ve made here to purchase a Caramel Frappe, I’ve received it only once. And I had to pull a stunt just to get the ‘one’. It’s always the machine is down for maintenance or it’s being cleaned. Yet when I ask management at other locations they just shake there head in disbelief. I was told the machine was down at the drive thru attempting to order. I pulled away and waited about 5 mins, and ordered online to pickup the Frappe. Take a guess, my Frappe was perfect & ready when I went through to pick it up! So,,,, Unless the part needed to repair the “broken” machine just arrived, then the machine was repaired & tested, all within 5 mins…..then please explain what I’m missing. The list of excuses goes on at this location. Sadly, I’ve spoken to several of the team members & leaders at this location and it sounds like they’re overwhelmed because they can’t get the control they need, to be able to fire & hire a staff that wants to work and get the job done!

I would give zero stars if I could. My husband works at the Kroger across the street so this is often just the closest option when we want something fast. We have only had bad experiences here. Today was the worst it’s been. The burgers were hard and old, the nuggets were soggy and cold, the fries were also soggy and cold, my holiday pie was not completely cooked through and had a strange taste, and my husbands sprite was not filled all the way and also flat. If you can, just drive to another location. We won’t be coming to this one ever again.

I had just went through with my mom and were very disappointed. For one we went through and the lady taking our order was not paying attention and my mom had to repeat herself not even kidding 4 times because she wasn’t paying attention. Then we paid extra for sauce. Didn’t get any. We paid for two pies we didn’t get either. Absolutely terrible. What the hell.

The ABSOLUTE WORST McDonald’s ever!!! We got in the drive through line at 7:20. We didn’t put out of the drive thru until 8:20. We had already paid for our food and we were trapped in the line so we were forced to stay and wait. while we were waiting, the cashier was outside smoking a cigarette. Do NOT come here.
