Just another Pollo Tropical restaurant. Still the chicken is really good, the yuquitas are good, also the black beans and white rice, as well as the yellow curry sauce. I did drive thru and apparently the lady taking the order was in a rush or sounded like it; even though I did not have a car behind me.

Since I can remember pollo tropical has really good flavor. Lately the prices have gone up and they are serving less food. I honestly don’t think the price is worth the little amount of food you get on your plate whether in person or delivery.

As a whole, Apollo used to be very good, with a full sauce bar and better sandwiches.
But times have clearly changed.
This one in particular has seen a major decline in attention. Having to wait for over five minutes in front of the cashier because the manager was too busy dealing with scheduling two employees to give the cashier an override code…
The manager should have stopped what she was doing to help the customer first so that the same customer doesn’t get annoyed over a lack of attention.
Anyway, kudos to Teresa, the only person who works here that actually does her best to give customer service. Too bad she wasn’t here in this day.

I ordered on uber eats and selected the white rice option only. Of course they dumped a gallon of beans on the tropichop even though I selected just white rice and chicken. I’m allergic to beans so I had to toss out the entire order. I wish they would actually read the instructions provided by the customer. Zero stars if I could.

We arrived at Pollo Tropical around 11 PM, not expecting much since it was so late—but we were pleasantly surprised! The manager Fidelina greeted us warmly and made us feel truly welcome, which really stood out. Despite the late hour, the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful—like it had just been made to order. The atmosphere was also amazing: the music playing in the background was beautiful and created such a relaxing vibe. On top of that, the entire restaurant was spotless, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we had a fantastic late-night visit and will definitely be coming back!
