A tiny cafe and bakery on the edge of town. It’s where we gather to prepare and eat fresh delicious food, drink strong coffee, listen to great music.

I met up with a friend here on my way to the airport to head back to Portland. The food was pretty darn good. They have a pretty standard menu with some great fresh twists on traditional items. I got the Eggs Florentine which was delicious. It was all perched on a piece of rosemary toast that really elevated the dish. Their pastries are wonderful! I did get to try a croissant before they sold out and it was perfection. My only issue with this place is that it is INCREDIBLY busy all the time. Because it’s always busy, it takes quite a while to get your food and you have already stood in line for 20 or so minutes waiting to order. The servers were nice but seemed very overwhelmed. I would recommend getting here right when it opens, or toward the end of their day so you don’t have to wait so long and feel rushed. OR, don’t have plans or a strict time line if you decide to try their delicious food and pastries. The food was delicious and if you are willing to wait, it is definitely worth it.

Chaps Diner and Bakery is such a gem in Spokane! The place and atmosphere are incredible, welcoming, cozy, and full of charm. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the breakfast poutine and it was packed with so much flavor, such a great choice. The croissant was also amazing and perfectly flaky and so good. Everything we tried was top notch. Highly recommend stopping by!

I visited Chaps with a friend this morning and enjoyed their Chicken and Waffles. It was delicious! My friend got the Eggnog French Toast. The line to order was quite long and seating was limited. We were sat at the bar. We got there at 10am on a Sunday, so it makes sense that it was busy! Once we ordered the wait for our food was very reasonable. We weren’t checked in on at all and had to wave someone down for a box, but we didn’t need refills or anything, so I guess it isn’t a big deal that nobody checked in with us. The staff was friendly when we ordered and had our food brought to us! It was pretty noisy in there and the crowd never died down. When we left there was still a long line to order. Will visit again.

Excuuuuuuse me?! How does a place get away with serving breakfast so perfect?

Absolutely phenomenal food and plenty of it! Great outdoor space for enjoying it on a sunny day. Plenty of space inside as well.

Heard good things about this place. Came and had the eggs Flourentine and was severely disappointed. The “Hollandaise” was so tart I couldn’t even eat it, tasted like Aoili mayonnaise, got half way through and decide it was too much. Hashbrowns perfectly cooked and seasoned but 45 minute wait for disappointment was not a highlight of the day. Biscuits and Gravy was also good but overall experience meh. Tip at register before you even get service.. which was really just non existent.

If you don’t mind throwing down for the ultimate brunch experience, this is certainly your place. Tucked right off the Pullman highway just a few minutes from downtown Spokane, this location knows their brunch. When you enter, you get a whiff of fresh baked goods and a large open commercial kitchen that showcases their pastry creations of the day. While the line can be a bit long on weekends, they have created a seamless system where you order your meal at the front register and get a pastry right away while you go find a table and wait for your drinks and meal. Savory or sweet, they have it on the menu. I had their matcha latte and eggs florentine, with a chocolate croissant and couple pastries for the road. The food is entirely reasonable for the large portions you get. Flavors were sensational and absolutely satisfying. If you want to kick your morning up a knotch from the standard espresso, they have Irish coffees, Bloody Mary’s and Spiced Russians. This place knows how to do it right!

Great place to dine with friends and family. I visited in the winter, but the outdoor patio looks amazing. The food was delicious. Really great portion sizes.

Gotta shout out the chai latte!

Had a friend recommend this place and it did NOT disappoint! Walking in I was welcomed with the most charming patio and cozy vibe indoor. Every single staff member was chatty, happy and seemed in great spirits! We sat and maybe waited for what felt like five minutes and then our food came out. As if it couldn’t get any better the food and latte knocked it out of the park! 10/10 recommend! You can feel the love that goes into this place! We will be back!

It’s been about a year since I’ve been here. We are from out of town. It’s always been our favorite breakfast stop. But I heard the my are under new ownership and it shows. The food was very bland. Breakfast for two with some pastries, which of course still seems awesome, was $80. I think the bakery manager is the same under the new ownership and that shows but if the breakfast food remains the same tasteless food, I may be looking for a new stop when in town.

This beautiful hidden little gem is absolutely a must go-to. Its bot as little as it appears though. Its so big and so much to see when you walk through the garden entry. And rustic in such a pretty way. The portions on the food, WOW!!!!!!! I have to go back and explore more!
