We had an unforgettable experience at this Thai restaurant in Greece!

We started with a wonton soup that was absolutely incredible, warm, rich in flavor, and when topped with chili flakes, it brought the whole dish to another level. A perfect balance of heat and depth.

Next came the pork dumplings, which were juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor, definitely one of my top favorites!

For the mains, we had noodle soup with chicken, Thai fried rice, and sizzling beef with white rice. Everything was cooked perfectly, but the fried Thai rice and the dumplings were the real stars of the meal. I could honestly come back just for those!

Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Thai flavors with a twist of Greek hospitality.

Beautiful authentic thai food! Service and food both amazing! Everything we tried was amazing but highlights are the shrimp dumplings, Tom yum soup and massaman curry!

My favourite Thai spot!

This Thai restaurant consistently delivers incredibly good and flavorful food – truly a taste sensation every time! The service is impressively fast and always available, whether you’re dining inside or out, which is a huge plus.

The only significant drawback, and it’s one I sincerely hope they address, is the smoking. When eating outside, both customers and even staff members are smoking, which unfortunately makes the outdoor dining experience quite unpleasant. If this could be changed, it would elevate the experience even further.

Despite the smoking issue, the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service are so outstanding that I still give them a full 5 stars. Their Thai dishes are my absolute favorites, and I’ll definitely keep coming back for more!

Great customer service from the three ladies! very affordable price for a different taste in Greece. Nothing to complain about. I have asked for a won ton soup with noodles and they made one for me.

Until next time. Keep up the good work! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came here 2 years ago and have been dreaming about their tomyum soup ever since. I knew when I came back to Athens this would be my first stop after a week on the islands, thai food was needed. Still tasted like I remembered and my mom enjoyed the pad thai, and shrimp dumplings.

Well, you may not find the food 100% to your taste, but it is so close that you will be excited! You will be so pleased by the smile of the people working there and the service and , on top of that, the full explanation of the food, the tastes the (potential ! ) similarities with the Greek cuisine that you will live an experience. And if you happen to be lucky to find the place packed with (Thai) tourists, you will feel like you are not in Greece. It is our fourth time in the restaurant and definitely not the last!

Let me preface this by saying that we have been loyal Rouan Thai regulars for the past 4 years. Rouan Thai has always been our #1 Thai resto in Athens for their authentic tasting thai dishes, and as a southeast asian I do not give that rank lightly. But I have to say our visit last week was very disappointing.

We arrived at 6PM asking for a table. Resto was completely empty save for 2 tables. Server said they were completely booked. I asked if there were any bookings for 9PM, we could eat quickly & be done by 8. Nope, she said. All the bookings were coming in 20 mts, best she could do was take out. Ok then, we do take out. Take out took 40 mts waiting, zero bookings have arrived. Went to pay at register, saw the booking list, half of them were for 9 PM. Sure, fine, whatever. Went home with our take out (15 mts), and EVERY single dish was disappointing.

Their usually moist, flavorful pad thai was dry & bland, like made with an instant season packet. The massaman curry was gloopy, not smooth & buttery like it was before. Requested Thai Spicy tom yum which usually gets me sweating, this time it was not spicy at all. My 10 y.o ate it. Papaya salad was not fresh. Pad kra pao was just a soy sauce stir fry, you literally could not tasteany other form of seasoning.

We have always recomended Rouan Thai to our business delegations when in Pireaus. Unfortunately, we can no longer recomend this establishment as a top Thai restaurant. Such a shame how the quality went down so drastically. There are plenty of mid Thai and pan asian restos nearer to centre. Probably no longer worth making the trip all the way to Pireaus Port for bland pad thai.

Nice place for authentic Thai cuisine. Most of the food we ordered we good. Except for the pad thai which I felt was too sweet.

I’ve eaten at almost all of the Thai restaurants in the Athens/Pireaus area; I feel like today was the first time I’ve had Thai food in the Athens/Pireaus area. Authentic food made with love and served with that one of a kind Thai kindness. Simply the best. Period.
