After a previous night of celebrating, we needed some carbs. This beautiful corner bagel shop hit the spot and were some of the best bagels we have had in the area. We both got the East on jalapeño and asiago. They were delicious—crusty, slightly greasy outsides with a soft chewy bite. We would definitely go back to try more of the menu.

This is an offshoot of Pete’s bagels, just more expensive to compensate for the high dollar rent of their location.
The decor inside is beautiful, albeit limited seating.
Menu is good and they have coffee and tea selections. We opted for the breakfast bagel and added bacon as well as the Seymour, which comes with smoked salmon and other stuff, that bagel is rather pricey at $14, and not a lot of smoke salmon.
Bagels weee good and service was excellent. If you are downtown, not too many good bagel options, so this is a welcome addition to downtown.

Great local establishment located on the first floor of the DTSP (downtown St Pete) historic Snell Arcade. A variety of bagels are prepared fresh daily. Everyone who works there has a positive, friendly attitude; Alfonso and Vincent are usually waiting on me. Limited outdoor, two- top seating- great for people watching. S

Cute bagel shop in a convenient location. Bagels were yummy, but the sandwiches weren’t well executed in my opinion. Too much cream cheese on some, to where it was spilling out of the sandwich as you ate. The turkey sandwich was a bit dry and we were expecting more sauce and more meat. It is quite veggie heavy, which wasn’t clear.

Excellent food and top notch customer service. Vincent is the best! He treated us with such kindness, respect, and patience. The rest of the team was also super nice and friendly. 5 stars all around for the crew! They really made our day 🙂 The bagels were amazing as well. High quality ingredients and absolutely delicious flavors and spreads. Yum! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Great bagels! And yes, vegan options including vegan cream cheese! Yay! Oat milk for your yummy coffee, too (they offer drip, espresso, lattes and more). The pumpkin bagels they had around the holidays were absolutely delicious, among the best we’ve had anywhere nd we are bagel snobs! New favorite is the French Toast bagel- so good! Husband says the Original Seymour with lox is his favorite in this area- -generous portions of cream cheese and lox on a bagel of your choice. Folks at the counter are friendly and polite, there is inside and outside seating. Its also a plus that they open early. They are going to have you expand this location!

The space is so cute and welcoming. The staff were also so nice. Baked goods were super tasty, but the bagels were meh. I ordered a salt bagel and it was just a plain bagel. My sister ordered the spicy Seymour and an ingredient was left off..there are only 3. I think the bagel recipe needs to be reworked, both bagels were far too dense (more than a good bagel should be). Would come for the vibes and baked goods but leave the bagels.

What ever happened to the good customer service? A quick “good morning” “hi how are you?” Came in for a good breakfast but left awkward. Please and truly have a conversation with your staff at Seymour’s about common courtesy and how to greet everyone (not just the people that look like them) when they come in.

If bagels were a religion, Seymour’s would be the holy land, and I’d be showing up every Sunday to worship the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Messiah.
Listen, this isn’t just a bagel shop. It’s a toasty, carby portal to happiness located right in the heart of downtown St. Pete. I wandered in for a quick breakfast and left spiritually fulfilled and possibly gluten-bonded to my new soulmate: The East Breakfast on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. Bacon, egg, cheese, AND a spicy kick to wake me up better than my third cup of coffee? Say. Less.
Yes, they offer sausage… but plot twist: it’s impossible sausage. Which I’m 94% sure is made from wizardry and plant-based unicorns because it’s so good I didn’t even miss the pig. It’s the kind of meat that makes you question your carnivorous ways while still making you feel like a breakfast champion.
Now let’s talk vibe. Seymour’s is like your quirky, artsy best friend who studied abroad, listens to vinyl, and somehow turns cream cheese into a lifestyle. Where else are you gonna get a bagel called The Rae, a Caesar salad IN a bagel sandwich, and not immediately feel like you’re part of a gourmet revolution?
And don’t sleep on The Maisie Melt—it’s got enough melty cheese and flavor to make you cancel all future lunch plans.
Also, they have fig jam. On a bagel. I didn’t even know that was legal.
So if you’re bagel-curious, cream cheese-inclined, or just hungry and breathing in St. Pete, do yourself a favor and go to Seymour’s. But fair warning—after this, your toaster at home will feel like a joke and you’ll start referring to regular bagels as “civilian carbs.”
See you in line. I’ll be the one whispering sweet nothings to my spicy Seymour.
