They do not tell you that gravy no longer comes with the chicken strip baskets but ask you to select a sauce. You have to select gravy and do without ranch, buffalo, etc.. without being upcharged.
It feels like another corporate “gotcha” because when I returned home to call and ask for a blizzard or something they acted like I was an idiot for not knowing and offered 5% discount at the next visit!
What kind of advertising and customer service is that? ….
…The kind you might expect for a bunch of teenagers and (apparently) no supervisory staff over 16. DQ Grill and Chill is ten thumbs down and I will not be giving this location any more of my business.

I go here specifically for the chicken strips with gravy, but the last few times….these are so small. The gravy is crusty, this time today I didn’t even get my gravy but didn’t notice till I got home. I don’t know if they are changing the chicken strips or what. But if I have to wait 20 minutes for some teenagers who are more into their phones and gossiping then working I would like decent ones and gravy that isn’t crusted over!

So, I haven’t been here to dairy Queen in awhile and decided to give it a shot.
The young man at the register was good and polite at taking orders.
I got my food and it wasn’t how, but not cold either. The blizzard was dripping all over the table.
I spoke to an employee about it and she made me a new one. It still wasn’t perfect but she explained why and I could see that. The frustrating thing is when I asked about it being turned upside down. She told me they have never done that, I know this to be a lie, because I’ve earned a free blizzard from it many years ago, so never was incorrect. They even wrote my name in a white binder at the time that’s how I know they did and there aren’t very many dairy queens that serve for in topeka. That’s common knowledge.
Another thing that made me upset was that while I was eating around 2:45-2:50pm. I watch this kid spray a can of raid on his way back from the front to the back of the kitchen and sprayed the chemical on the tables themselves. It’s been almost ten minutes as I’ve been here and writing this that never has he came back to wash the tables off he covered in poison.
If you get sick and ate here. You know why. Check the cameras if you like. It was very upsetting and I definitely won’t be coming back.
So, glad braums is coming to topeka after this experience.

$18….. Chicken strip basket and 1 blizzard, no drink. Expensive as heck. Ok. Whatever. But then on top of it they have now REMOVED the gravy from the basket, so no gravy… Which is why I wanted the chicken strip basket, the chicken and gravy. My bread was not buttered and my fries were cold. Screw you guys. Alot of nerve to charge like that and provide the low quality and trickiness you provided. Dairy Queen just keeps getting more and more expensive while removing the things that give their menu quality.

I ordered a regular DQ ice cream cake, and this is what I got. Don’t order a cake from this location. I called corporate and they said they emailed whoever runs the DQ at this location, but I haven’t heard anything from them, and I know I won’t (it’s been a month now).

Too difficult to do it right. My wife and I hit the drive thru for two Bllizzards. One small and one large. They messed up 50% of the order. One of the Blizzards was supposed to be the Blizzard of the month, Mint chocolate blah blah… It came out all minty green on top. I got home and took off the lid. You could see some of the dark green syrup. About 4 spoonfuls in, all the mint ran out. Nothing but white, relatively flavorless ice cream with chocolate chunks. I guess that is what you get for your $11 now. Goodbye DQ, hello Sheridan’s.

The first 2 times I ate at this location I was so impressed. My food was hot and fresh. I had ordered a hot fudge that was put in their freezer. I said nothing because I should’ve told them not to make until I was ready. The whole point of hot fudge is to eat it hot.
The last time I was there, what a big disappointment. Tables dirty. I had to clean my own. My fries were cold and I could not eat. A kid who was not an employee behind counter and everyone talking when dining room could’ve been cleaned and also soda fountain station wiped down.
Now I don’t know if I will ever return.

Went through the drive-thru. Staff seemed annoyed to take our order. Burger was cold and the fries were ancient. The blizzards we ordered were half-melted soup. My coke had a mummified moth stuck on the inside. Won’t be coming back.
