One of my favorite places to eat in Bangor. The food is amazing with decent variety. The Irish/English type dishes are my favorite. The atmosphere is also really good here. All around amazing restaurant.

Mixed emotions here. Atmosphere is great in the thick of Bangor but execution is hit and miss. Certain dishes are great but then again a burnt chicken tender in the mix. Not sure overall.

The staffs are really friendly and nice. The restaurant owns good vibe! We met an old friend and had really good conversation here 🙂

The food is good! Especially butternut squad salad with grill chicken. Beers are well served too. Recommended

I just finished eating here. I ordered chicken tenders nothing fancy. They came out pretty burnt, but whatever, I just ate around the charcoal parts. We were out with family and the place was busy, so I wasn’t about to complain or send them back.
About halfway through the meal, our waiter (a small man wearing overalls) came by and asked if we needed anything. I very clearly asked for a cup of ranch. He said, “Okay, I’ll get that for you.”
Fast forward about 15 minutes… no ranch. At that point it was obvious he forgot. Someone I was eating with politely mentioned it to him while heading to the bathroom, just to jog his memory.
He eventually came back with the ranch, but instead of just handing it over, he got confrontational and said, “Why didn’t you ask me when I asked the table if they needed anything else?”
I replied, “I’m sorry, I definitely did.”
The rest of the table immediately backed me up and said I 100% asked.
His response?
“Mmmm… no.”
Then he walked away and literally went outside.
At that point we were just confused more than anything. Shortly after, he had another server take over our table presumably because he didn’t want to come back after embarrassing himself. The weird part was he still had other tables right next to us, so he spent the rest of the time awkwardly pacing around waiting on these tables while avoiding eye contact while we giggled at him because the whole situation was so silly. Getting that bent out of shape over a ranch cup is so weird to me.
Overall, I previously would have recommended this place for the atmosphere alone it has a cool Irish vibe. The food is just okay, but to be fair, I’ve only tried one of their burgers and the chicken tenders, so take that for what it’s worth. Lastly, if you get the same server I did, tread carefully when asking for more ranch.

Had the fish and chips and clam chowder in a bread bowl with a couple local beers on the outside area. Very nice and shady out there and dog friendly outside.

Took a minute to get noticed by the wait staff after we were seated, but it was a minor glitch (we were in a hidden, corner table). Our server Asheley was great and food was terrific, Poutine for me and cottage pie for the wife. The overhead Irish music was nice– not too overwhelming. Nice evening out.

This place is a jewel! Abby was such a great server. She was both knowledgeable about the food and got extremely excited talking about her recommendations. We got the poutine, fish & chips, and a cup of French onion soup. It was all good, but the French onion soup was the best I’ve eaten anywhere. Additionally, they actually played Irish pub music in an authentic Irish pub atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

This pub is the perfect definition of a fun, lively spot that makes you want to keep drinking and enjoying the night. The moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great time. Our server was incredibly friendly, helped us decide on portions, and gave us great insight into the food. The atmosphere was fantastic, with Irish music playing the whole time and decor that truly enhanced the experience. We were there for the vibe, and it did not disappoint!

One of the highlights was the nightly events—they have something going on every night, even on weekdays. We happened to visit on karaoke night, which made the evening even more entertaining. This place came highly recommended by locals, and I can see why. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great pub experience in Bangor!
