Nice place with beautiful decorations, but the food was just okay. We went there for a birthday celebration, and the staff were kind enough to help light the candle. Plenty of parking available and the atmosphere is cool and relaxing.

The place was absolutely beautiful—art and paintings were everywhere, creating a vibrant and creative atmosphere. It’s quite spacious, making it a great spot for larger groups. I especially loved the tortilla and salsa they served before the meal—so fresh and delicious! The main dishes were not close to my Fav Mexican foods!

We went yesterday around 730PM. The food was good, pretty standard, and was out quickly. My only complaint was they decided to close the kitchen early and didn’t tell us so we didn’t get the fried ice cream we were mostly there for (over an hour before close). Totally understand closing early if you aren’t busy, but it would’ve been nice to know so we could’ve ordered it earlier.

My family and I have eaten at Rey Azetca many times. I am from AZ and have high expectations for Mexican food. Rey Azteca comes closest to meeting those in the State College area. They have excellent chips and salsa to start the meal, the entrees are solid, and the drinks are quite good. I’ve also found the service to be speedy and responsive, and the atmosphere has a lively vibe. It’s a good place to go for a fun dinner.

My first and all time favorite Mexican restaurant. I either get the shrimp tacos or pollo creme. Their cheese dip is also the best appetizer with the chips I highly recommend this place if you like Mexican. The atmosphere is also so beautiful and fun!

Great Mexican food and environment! Wasn’t expecting such a nice arrangement inside, its big and plenty of seating space. The food was great, and many options to pick from! I found r-bone steak, a rare find anymore! Price is okay, but they have great lunch deal up to 2:30 pm.

My son and I ate here on a Wednesday. First off the whole place is decorated from the tables, to the chairs to the booths, very cool mexican paintings. The paintings on the booths and each and every chair and table were differrtn from one another. The food was great and so was the service we had no issues at all. We loved and would likely return. The atmosphere was very calm.

We were craving for some Mexican food and went to this Mexican restaurant nearby our hotel. Ordered a few dishes for sharing, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, etc…. and an imported Mexican Coca Cola!
I would have to say the food here is phenomenal. Big shoutout to the beef steak fajitas and the chicken enchiladas! Absolutely delectable!
