Sadly, I am very disappointed with this 5 Guys. We have frequented this location several times over the years. In fact, THIS was our first location we had ever visited!
I wished I could share the photos of this last visit. It was very “dirty” which is unusual for any 5 Guys. The stainless steel walls, particularly the one by the cash register of all places. Not only handprints but also smeared grease and drippings. (and not just recent).
Sadly, the whole restaurant was very unkempt. Dirty floors. The trash cans were dirty on the outside of container. The drink dispenser was sticky and dirty.
AND, it was NOT busy. In fact, we were only the 24th customer order. And the only customer except one other couple there at that time. There were 4 employees working, clearly talking and joking around. Must not have good supervisors or just not good work ethics perhaps. The employees were very nice but there are things that also can be cleaned. Walking into a 5 Guys, I’ve always felt it was clean and efficient. But not anymore.
I suggest you get their act together because for what it costs, $33 for 2 people…which I don’t mind for good food but I don’t like the feeling of uncleanliness. Just not appropriate for a place serving food.
Secondly, aren’t the employees with long hair supposed to wear hair nets or tied back? Distasteful also.

Been wanting to try Five Guys for some time now, what better opportunity than when on vacation? Had a burger, fries and vanilla shake Friday night. All very delicious!
Wanted to try other burger joints in Sandusky, but went with Five Guys again after reading sketchy reviews on the other places. Bacon burger, fries and vanilla shake tonight, were just as tasty as the first visit! And I got my food much quicker this time, then the place filled up while I was eating. Good timing. Would have given 5 stars but it is a bit pricey….

Stopped in for dinner after cedar point! Our meal was absolutely perfect! I got the cheeseburger with onion, pickles, lettuce, mustard and tomato. With a regular fry. The pickles at five guys are amazing! My burger was made to absolute perfection. I’ll let the photo speak for itself. They also offer gold peak green tea, which is my favorite! I can’t forget- the fries were amazing! Perfectly crispy and salty. My favorite meal!

I love this location. The staff are always so kind and welcoming. I bumped food down to 4 stars (normally a 5) but the last couple weeks I’ve been here we have had pink burger on the inside every time which is a little disappointing. Hopefully they can figure that out because the pink in the burger really grosses me out and I’m pretty sure everything is supposed to be well done. I’ll be back regardless, it is normally an outstanding location and again, the staff are always a 10/10. Be kind.

Absolutely delicious!!!! The staff was on point for sure and they kept everything moving with the quickness!!! Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the fries were awesome too!!!!

Simply phenomenal burgers and fries. The service was magnificent and the food came out in a surprisingly quick fashion. The chefs cooked in a very meticulous way, making sure the burgers were just right before sending them to the customer. The chefs were clearly well versed in their field, as not only did the burgers come out fast, but they tasted great! The decor, though minimal, fitted the restaurant very good. There are also free peanuts, which simply enhance the experience.

I have loved this place since I’ve lived in Utah, then Texas, now Michigan visiting Sandusky and my friend had never heard of them. I dare say you now have a new fan of the Bacon Cheese Burger and Cajon Fries!

Staff was amazing. We came in as a family of 6 forty minutes to close. The place was empty when we got there and they were absolutely happy to help and serve us. Very patient while our four kids decided what they wanted. Even helped with suggestions on what was best. Food was phenomenal. It was my family’s first time there and they absolutely loved it and will be back!
