This Mayflower is the best one around. They have very fresh food and service is great. We went around 5 pm so we beat the crowds. I love the way they have murals everywhere. I had the oyster stew this time, it was delicious.

My family was at the Mayflower Seafood in Madison on Sunday evening to celebrate our Mom’s Birthday, we had a great experience, our waitress was Madison Brim and we could not have asked for better service, she was very attentive to our needs, and took very good care of table, oh yeah, it was 15 people at this table. The food was great, our waitress was awesome, Great Job Mayflower Seafood Restaurant!!!!

It’s a shame it cost $50 to feed my family and the majority of the food was inedible. The fish was the texture of cardboard. The scallops were rubber. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the fried clams tasted like they should. Onion rings were inedible. This is the second time in a year that we’ve eaten here and we won’t be back… Both times was garbage

Did take out…The salads I ordered are more brown than green. It use to look like they made the salad..this looks like it was dumped from an old bag of lettuce. Nothing in it but 2 pieces of onion – brown lettuce. Afraid to look at the baked potato…but 17.00 for a cup of brown lettuce & two cold potatoes is a no go for me. Next time will definitely be some where else for this price!! $17.00

At lunch today. Ordered flounder, scsllops, shrimp. Unable to bite scallops. Took a steak knife to cut. Portions of each 1 very small piece flounder. Hardly no substance..to piece of fish; scallops as above pitiful. Shrimp mostly tiny pieces. Most abundant of entire plate. 3 hushpuppies. Definitely my last trip there. Didn’t ask how food was on paying bill. One good thing waitress was good.

Their fried pickles were extremely salty. It was as if they dipped them in salt. I ate one and was done. They were fried to perfection but too salty to eat. I paid for them but didn’t eat them.

Every time I have went there the past few months literally everyone in my house has stomach issues the very same day. Idk what their doing differently but its not the same as it used to. It’s like they are cooking the food to fast. Won’t be eating there anymore. Prices are super high and considering how sick to our stomachs we get when we eat here I just cant no more. They used to be very good but not for the past 6 months or so.
