My wife has been a Mojito’s customer for a while now and I became a Mojito’s customer after we met in 2015, but I digress..

We’ve dined at this location several times together and she’s dined at this location dozens of times before that, so we thought we should revisit all that Mojito’s has to offer after a Razorbacks home game this past Saturday evening..

Of note, we reside in central Oklahoma now, so our visit to Mojito’s while in town fits our general rule of dining at establishments unavailable to us at home while we’re away..

This visit to Mojito’s was much like our previous visits.. We received outstanding service and quality food for the $$ spent.. The margaritas, made with Don Julio reposado (our request), were pretty tasty, too..

We shared the fajitas Jalisco and ordered a large queso blanco to go with our chips and salsa.. Before I go into specifics, just know that we know what we like and what we don’t when it comes to Mexican fare eateries..

The chips and salsa were good.. The chips aren’t the very best we’ve ever had but they weren’t bad and the salsa had a great falor and consistency, with just a hint of jalapeño, so as not to turn off anyone who doesn’t like the heat..

The queso was a little thinner than we remembered, but we’re comparing it to our favorite in central Oklahoma, too.. The flavor was outstanding and just as we remembered.. Of note, any time you can enjoy fresh queso blanco over the “yellow” stuff served at so many other Tex-Mex places it’s a good time.. Aside from the consistency we were quite pleased..

The fajitas Jalisco were all that we remembered them being.. They were delivered to the table piping hot and amply portioned with wonderfully seasoned, small strips of steak, chicken, and shrimp.. The onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes were the perfect balance to the meats and the overall dish was quite tasty..

We ordered charro beans in place of the refried beans on our set up and were delighted.. They were wonderfully seasoned, perfectly done, and had a great consistency.. We added a little salt & pepper to them and they definitely hit the spot.. The rice, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream were quite fresh, too..

All in all, I don’t think we’ve had a bad visit to this Mojito’s.. We dined here often during our courtship, so it will always hold a bit of nostalgic charm as a result..

I want to add that our server on this visit, Leslie, was absolutely delightful and took care of us very well during our stay.. Thanks, Leslie, for the fantastic service and making our visit the best it could be!!

This is one of our favorite spots for Mexican food in Northwest Arkansas. I got the Steven’s Special Burrito and my wife got the Stevens Special. We also got a large queso. Great service and great food!

Unfortunately, I frequently buy the queso sampler to go. In the past month I’ve bought it a few times. The last 2 times the queso containers have been smaller and smaller… Tonight they were in such a tiny container. The queso is also very runny… no texture at all. Disappointing and definitely not worth $12! *Website says $10. Each time I have gone in recently, I am charged a different price… They also have a card fee. So I make sure to bring cash. I probably won’t be back, I am so sad about it. I Absolutely loved treating myself to 3 good sized bowls of queso for a great price

Keeps getting better every time I go. The owner personally picked up our plates when we finished. The Pollo Hawaiiano was really good, the mango salsa really kicked off the flavor.

Had horrible service here today and won’t be back. The waitress we usually get acts like she would rather be getting teeth pulled than working here but that’s okay. However today we went in to get a little snack while we had time to kill and ordered a small cheese dip and sodas. We waited a long time for the check and when it came we were charged for a large cheese dip, so I asked her if she could correct it since we ordered a small. She said the small is very small so she decided it wasn’t enough and brought us a medium ( there is only small or large on the menu— and she charged us a large) and because we ate most of it we had to pay for it. And I was dumbfounded, I said we ordered a small and this is a small. She just says sorry and starts to take the check and I said that isn’t how this works. We ordered what we wanted and you don’t get to decide what is or isn’t enough and bring anything you like. I think she was trying to pad the bill because we didn’t order a full meal however we eat here all the time and normally do get a full meal just didn’t need that today. She left and returned with the corrected check and asks if I will pay that or no and I agree because that is what we ordered. She continues to argue with me about the size, price, etc and I am getting more frustrated. I asked her if she remembered me from the other night with a friend we sat in the same place and she was our waitress and ordered a small and received the same size and it was the correct price but she doesn’t recall that. Finally says it could have been happy hour or something but at this point the entire thing was ridiculous. You order what you want and have an agreement that it was you are going to pay for and you don’t get to decide what someone ordered or what they are charged because you feel like it isn’t enough for them. Very uncomfortable and unnecessary despite the food being great I won’t give money to a business that is overcharging people and playing dumb about it just expecting them to fold especially as a regular customer who knows what the prices and portions are. The prices are fair but the complete disrespect and handling of the situation was asinine and I won’t be eating here again.

Looking for some honestly good Mexican cuisine? Here’s the spot. It’s a good clean comfortable establishment. Service is great and the food is as well. The salsa has a slight edge to compliment the flavor yet is not overbearingly spicy. The entrees are flavorful and the sides are equally good. Your drink doesn’t run empty and servers are attentive. It’s a good experience for a nice evening out. No mediocracy here. There was nothing that was lack-luster about our meal or service. Two thumbs up! Juanito was our excellent server.

Honestly horrible, I ordered a chicken quesadilla one time and will never go back here, it came out dripping wet & soggy. I looked at it and this monstrosity and it was just gross the chicken did not look fully cooked and pink. When asked to swap it out they said that’s how they make them.

Not bad, not great. Chips and salsa were ok, cheese dip (in Texas we would call it queso) was thin, almost watery – not impressed. Guys got the Stephen special, which amounted to rice and steak on a plate – they liked it. My wife and I split the beef fajitas – comes on a bed of onions and peppers with all the fixings. Wasn’t that impressed with that either. Hard to beat good Mexican food in Texas – maybe shouldn’t compare apples and oranges and just appreciate the food put in front of me – but the 3 stars is definitely a comparison to much better Mexican food that I’ve grown accustomed to.

This place used to be great but something dramatic has changed. Service awful, food quality awful, chips were broken pieces, cheese dip taste like it had vinegar in it. In the past, we’ve been to this restaurant often. Today was horrible. Just spent $87 I wish I could get back.
