This is one of my favorite places to go for affordable Nicaraguan food. The service is always great, even when the restaurant is full. We tried two natural juices, passion fruit with orange and chia with tamarind. They’re both very good. The chia with tamarind was a bit sweeter. As an appetizer we ordered tostones with fried cheese and it was delicious. The tostones were crispy and fried cheese was warm and delicious. As an entre, we had the oxtail soup and chicken with meatball soup. The oxtail soup was delicious and it was a fair portion of vegetables and meat. The chicken and meatball soup was also delicious. We asked for no chicken and just meatball, and they brought it as request for no extra charge. Each soup order comes with rice and a tortilla. The rice alone is not the best but when you pour into the soup, it taste a lot better. I will continue to come to this restaurant as the food is always delicious.

I visited this restaurant for a company luncheon and was very pleased with both the food and the service. The staff was friendly, prompt, and extremely helpful. The food was not only beautifully presented but also delicious.
As a diabetic, I skipped the gallo pinto rice, but I enjoyed their coleslaw, salad, and—most importantly—their amazing carne asada. Everything I tried was excellent.
The prices were very reasonable and affordable, especially compared to today’s rising costs. I even took food home for my husband and daughters, and they were very satisfied as well.
I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is cozy and very family-oriented. It may be a hole-in-the-wall, but it’s definitely worth the visit. I’ll be back for more great, affordable food!

First time coming here though I’ve seen this place for many years. Very glad we decided to go in today.
We did go during a busy hour but the wait wasn’t bad only 10 minutes.
We were seated and our server was super nice.
Food came quickly, very delicious and great price for the portion sizes.
Will definitely be back again.

This place is very Nicaraguan. We arrived on a trip and wanted to eat typical Nicaraguan food. My wife ordered a soup and I had a meal from the lunch menu, I was not very hungry. I was amazed at the amount of food, and very well accompanied.excellent everything, and I recommend it 100%

Love almost everything on the menu except for the home made sour cream and the barley drink because they put cinnamon. Natural juices are great too. Oxtail soup is home made and delicious. Love the fried cheese and the nacatamales (one of the better ones out there). Carne asada is actually flavorful unlike pinolandia restaurant which has switch to dry rub prior to grilling.
