We ordered applo fish and boneless chicken biriyani. The fish was good but we mainly went for biriyani and that was disappointing. I would say even that doesn’t feel like fresh biriyani. The chicken pieces was really dry and biriyani rice have over test of mint leaves. For sure i won’t recommend this place for biriyani anymore.

We were very disappointed with both the service and the food during our recent visit. This was our second time dining here, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. The taste of the food was noticeably lacking and did not reflect the quality we had anticipated.
When we shared our feedback with the waitress, it was not received well. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional, which only added to our dissatisfaction. Furthermore, when we asked for the check, we were directly asked to swipe our card without being shown the receipt first. Only after insisting was the receipt provided to us.
The overall behavior of the staff left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed. We had hoped for a pleasant dining experience, but sadly, this visit fell short in several key areas.

I had ordered a full tray of Veg Biryani from Bawarchi Biryani Corner for my party, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were so authentic, and every guest at the party loved it and appreciated the taste. The aroma, quality, and quantity were perfect. had one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had at Bawarchi Biryani Corner on Oak Tree Road in Edison and honestly, I’m still shocked by how badly we were treated. We picked this place because we were planning to takeout there during the Super Bowl with friends and family, expecting to enjoy some good Indian food and have a great time. Instead, it turned into a stressful and disappointing evening.
When our food arrived, the first thing we noticed was the rice. it smelled off, like it was spoiled. We didn’t even want to eat it because it clearly wasn’t fresh. I’ve eaten at many places on Oak Tree Road before, and I know what good biryani rice is supposed to taste like, this was nowhere near that.
We immediately told the server that the rice tasted spoiled and asked if they could remake it or replace the dish. Instead of being understanding or apologetic, the staff was rude and dismissive. It felt like they didn’t even care that we were served something inedible. We politely asked for a remake, and they refused. We even asked for a refund since we clearly couldn’t eat the food, and again they refused. It was baffling and so frustrating.
At that point, I had to raise my voice just to be heard because the staff wouldn’t acknowledge our concerns or take responsibility. They acted like we were overreacting, even though anyone could taste that the rice was bad. Instead of offering a solution, they just stood there with blank expressions and brushed us off. I’ve never been treated so rudely in a restaurant, especially not when the problem was on their end.
There are many Indian restaurants in Edison worth going to that take pride in their food and care about their customers. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. If you want a place that actually stands behind their food and treats customers with respect, I would look elsewhere. I will not be going back here, and I would strongly encourage others to avoid it until they fix their quality and service.

Ordered Karampudi Chicken and it is too spicy that we have to spit it out. We are 10 people and all of us love spicy food but still it is too hot/spicy that it burns your stomach. I would not recommend it for any. Even after mentioning not to make it spicy ️ they make it irrespective of it.
Will never ever go to this place the entire tray ordered was trashed and this is not the first time we did.

I recently visited Bawarchi Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! The flavors were authentic and rich — especially the biryani, which was perfectly cooked and full of aroma. The staff was friendly, attentive, and ensured quick service despite it being a busy evening. The ambiance was clean and welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. I highly recommend Bawarchi to anyone craving delicious Indian food. Will definitely be coming back!

Bawarchi Biryani Corner is a gem. The goat korma is rich, tender, and packed with deep flavor. You can customize your spice level, which is perfect if you like a little heat or want to go full throttle. The biryani is no joke—fragrant, layered, and served with an egg that soaks up all the flavor like magic. The kofta biryani in particular had a real kick and was absolutely delicious. Butter chicken is a classic here—creamy, just the right balance of sweet and savory. Staff is friendly and helpful, which rounds out the whole experience. I keep coming back.

Bawarchi biryani corner is a hidden gem! My family and I recently dined in, we were truly impressed. The chicken biryani and egg dosa were delicious, full of authentic flavours. But what really stood out were the chutneys- absolutely top notch!
I highly recommend trying their Goat curry and kadai paneer these was rich,spicy and perfectly cooked. Don’t leave without trying ras malai for dessert- it’s the perfect sweet to finish a great meal.

Everything was good. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed watching the Bollywood shows during our visit. We forgot to order our food with mild heat It was so flavorful and tasty though. We couldnt help ourselves! Just lots of naan, rice and water ! Will return for our 3rd visit the next time in Edison.
