Very cute small pizza place. The service was amazing! Our waitress was super attentive and the Greek salad we ordered as an appetizer was very fresh with crispy vegetables. The pizza was delicious! Very thin crust with high quality ingredients and cheese. I have ordered the anchovies pizza with mushrooms and spinach, the flavors were just like I remember an anchovy pizza to be back in my country( Argentina) were we have great Italian cuisine. Thanks J & G for the great work and service! We are from Michigan and my husband and I will definitely be back here on a date again. ❣️

Great local pizza place! Went for the first time but we will go again. Loved the decor inside the restaurant. Made me think of pizza places when I was young. We had a 1/2 mushroom 1/2 pepperoni pizza that was good. Arrived quickly and was piping hot. Different kind of crust than I’m used to but very good. We also got an order of garlic cheese bread which was on the small size to share but again delicious and loaded with cheese and lastly our favorite, the fried pepperoni appetizer! Seems simple but they were exceptional! Dusted with Parmesan and accompanied by three different dipping sauces with the feta dip being the best. Service was excellent. Friendly and attentive wait staff and everyone wished us a pleasant evening and thanks for coming as we left. Wish I would have known about this place sooner.

First time at J&G Pizza Palace in Sylvania, Ohio, and we were so impressed! You can really tell everything about their pizza is made in-house – fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The hummus was honestly some of the best we’ve ever had.
Our waitress was amazing – very informative and kind, made us feel so welcome. And the lady at the entrance was such a sweetheart, greeting us with a smile as soon as we walked in. The entire atmosphere felt warm and family-oriented.
We heard their gyros are great too, so we’ll definitely be back to try them next time. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good food, great service, and a cozy vibe. ❤️

I had not been here for a long time. Stopped in to see the Dallas tap room and have a pizza. I ended up going back the next two weeks for pizza and beer. Enjoy sitting at the bar. The bartenders are friendly and provide top notch service. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable and welcoming.
J&G has an excellent whiskey/bourbon selection along with a select number of craft beers and domestics.

Always great food, and an even better atmosphere. This is an icon of Sylvania and northwest Ohio! The pizza is absolutely phenomenal! There was this hostess, Kate answering the phones and helping customers. I’ve NEVER met someone with such great customer service and phone skills. With her up front and the phenomenal food and atmosphere, this pizza place has to be one of the top in the world! I will be coming weekly just for those reason! Don’t waste your money on big chains, go to J&G’s!

I’m new to Sylvania and I always stick with what I know and I always do the same thing over and over and I decided to venture out and try something new because it was recommended to me today and I was definitely not disappointed. Neither was my baby.(16 month old) So delicious I got the hummus platter, a small pickle and cheese pizza and a medium bacon, green pepper and mushroom pizza!!! So so so good!!!! My baby literally devoured the pizza and her pita bread and hummus!! The crust is different. It’s super crispy on the bottom super crunchy crust, but fluffy middle. Truly spectacular! Thank you j & g

Great neighborhood place in Sylvania to grab a pie and a brew. We got a medium House Special pizza, had sausage, onion, mushrooms, pepper and ground beef. Nice amount of toppings, plenty of cheese, and the thin crust had a nice texture to it I felt. We got the fried pepperoni crisps, they were good and nice assortment of dipping sauces with them, the jalapeno ranch was my fave. Good choice of beers, I got the Hidden Springs Blurred Lines, think Key Lime pie in a beer, really enjoyed it! Big thumbs up to J&G Pizza Palace.

Pizza oven was temporarily down so we tried a couple different items .( I know, right! my knees buckled ) My order standard always starts with the Greek salad and it was amazing as always, that block of feta !! I hadn’t had their Gyro for years and it was ridiculous (in a good way) our table also ordered a Dallas smash burger , I was crazy big and delicious.
Smash burger fans can be a strange breed, aficionados per se or even fanatical , personally I just love a great tasting burger. I wouldn’t call this a smash burger because the patties weren’t crispy on the edges or flat enough but, as a regular burger-Nailed it! Give it a try

This was one of the worst pies I’ve ever had. No joke, I’ve had many frozen pizzas better than this and for 5% of the wait. I waited 90 minutes for this pie. There was no sauce on the pie. The crust was doughy for a thin style, which I actually asked for “well done” to ensure crispiness. The cheese was extra salty. There was no redeeming quality to this pizza. I gave it away after two slices it was so bad. The people working behind the counter had no idea what they were doing and continuously left the ovens open as they couldn’t figure out what pie was ready. They also handled the pizzas with their bare hands, which I’m pretty sure is a Food and Safety violation. Overall, it makes sense that the locals would appreciate this since they have absolutely no reference to what is actually a quality pizza place. I’m certainly glad I don’t live here. Score: 1.2 out of 10 – garbage.
