The menu celebrates the rich diversity of Mexico, with dishes drawn from all seven regions. Each plate feels well curated and carefully balanced: the short rib birria tacos, the hot iron-seared burrito, the seafood and grill options — everything tasted fresh, layered, and satisfying. The flavors are bold but not overwrought, leaning into authentic technique and smart sourcing.
Service is friendly and on point. The staff seemed genuinely invested in helping navigate the menu, offering suggestions, and making sure the flow of courses hit just right. The cocktails and margaritas deserve a moment on their own — inventive, well mixed, and a fun companion to dinner.
All in all, My Neighbor Felix gives you an elevated Mexican dining experience that doesn’t lose its approachability. It’s a spot I’d happily recommend for date nights, group dinners, or any time you want to enjoy bold, well-crafted food in an energetic environment.
another great location! they get busy and parking can be tricky, so head out a tad early to find a spot. otherwise the food came out perfectly and they were on top of refilling chips for our guac, too. nice touch!
Treated like royalty. Thank you for making our special moment memorable. Chef and bartender were legendary. We got some treats to take home! I’m so excited and thankful. My tummy is full.
Congratulations to my girl, Emma Sojo on winning her Sparta Combat Fight this past weekend! Proud of you lady! Champ is in the building.
Went to this Mexican restaurant hoping for a solid meal, but it ended up being pretty average. The ceviche looked great and tasted decent, but the tacos were a disappointment—so oily that the grease was literally dripping, and they fell apart after just a couple of bites.
Service was another letdown. The staff was nice, but they were incredibly slow and inconsistent, which made the whole experience frustrating. The only real saving grace was the manager, Rachel—she was super nice and actually made an effort to improve the situation.
Overall, not the worst, but definitely not a place I’d rush back to.
Service: Slow, inattentive server and food. Server never checked back after bringing food; next time we saw her was when she brought check.
Food: the food was so unremarkable and disappointing that I don’t even remember the names—but I have posted pics. We do, however, recall that their amazingly expensive “signature” Bloody Mary’s, which are supposed to be loaded with fresh ingredients like olives, lettuce, bacon and other items) fell dreadfully short of most items; you can see in pics that one just came with a slice of bacon sticking up, and the other didn’t even have that. Though it doesn’t appear on their online menu and I failed to snap a photo of their “real” in-person menu that touts this drink, I believe they were around $12 each—for a glass of tomato juice, a shot of vodka (probably house vodka) and a slice of bacon (or not!)… ridiculous. Food also overpriced.
Parking: There was ample street parking when we were there.
Chances we will return again: zero
Chances we will recommend: zero
Value for price paid: For $60 plus tip??? Nah—- very poor value in terms of food, drinks, and overall bad experience.
