The hotel has a very seasoned vibe and clearly has had an exciting past, so we tried the restaurant for breakfast. Had avacado toast which was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Blanca made sure our coffee was never ending, and our food came out quickly! We will definitely return to try other items on the menu during our stay, and hopefully Blanca will be there to make our experience that much better!!

We had a great experience at Blu Gin @ Castle Beach. We had Blanca as our waitress and she was absolutely amazing!! You don’t find too many like her these days. She has an amazing personality, super nice, very down to earth and so much more. She is probably the best waitress I have ever had and I’m so serious. We had great conversations with her as well. It was so appreciated to have had her serving us. Oh and the food was also amazing!! I highly suggest visiting Blu Gin if ever in The area or staying at Castle Beach in Miami! Don’t forget to ask for Blanca!!

The food was incredible. We had the calamari, tomato cream soup, the fried fish, the steak with chimichurri the most delicious and creamy mashed potatoes. For dessert we had the crème Brûlée and the tiramisu and honestly the most delicious meal we’ve had in Miami and I Lived here for years! Definitely will be coming back to this place to eat and Marlene our waitress was amazing and so cheerful which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The hotel itself was beautiful — the higher you go, the more impressive the views get. Honestly, the stay could’ve been perfect.
But the food? Total letdown. It had good seasoning and flavor, but it was SO dry it completely ruined the meal. My daughter was excited, and I dropped $120 thinking we’d enjoy something special — instead we couldn’t even finish it.
On top of that, they say it’s a non-smoking place, yet out of nowhere someone lit up inside. Super strange and unprofessional.
What makes it worse? If you check the comments, the owner actually talks trash to people who are being honest about their food experiences. I can’t make this up — go look for yourself.
Bottom line: the hotel stay is nice, but the restaurant destroyed the experience. Would not recommend this place to anybody

I ordered a hookah for $35. A 20% service charge was automatically added to the bill without any warning or explanation, which is already misleading.
The hookah quality was very poor — low quality, poorly prepared, and absolutely not worth the price.
On top of that, the server never checked on me even once during my entire visit. No follow-up, no service, no attention at all.
Despite this, when I handed over my card to pay a bill totaling $45.29, $50 was charged to my card. I was never asked for permission to add extra tips, nor was I informed. The server simply added tips on his own.
This is unauthorized tipping and dishonest billing. Charging customers more than the agreed amount without consent is unacceptable.
I would not recommend this place due to poor service, low product quality, and unethical payment practices.

Nicholas was fantastic! He was very Good at Checking in but not overwhelming us. His recommendation of the lasagna was perfect. The bacon burger and calamari were better than expected. I didn’t have high expectations being this was in the lobby. The atmosphere was cool – very Miami Vice (80’s version)

We were served by Gabby! She was a lovely waitress and made sure everything came out on time. There is a beautiful view of the water in the restaurant as well! I definitely recommend going to this restaurant for a nice lunch spot.
