This is my 3rd occasion eating at Fireside.
To note, everything is made from scratch here including the breads, grits, fruit compotes, syrup and gravies.
Sam was our waitress and she was a delight.
My sister in law ordered the egg, pancake and bacon breakfast a d enjoyed it very much.
My brother got the sausage and egg sandwich, with an extra egg on the Fireside’s homemade rye bread. It was large and tasty and he loved the homemade stone ground grits.
I ordered the little pigs (4 link sausage rolled i to pancakes) “sloppy” , meaning covered in their homemade sausage gravy. Oh my delicious!
The coffee reminded me of that which my grandmother brewed in the old metal coffee pot on the stove. Rich and delicious.
We ordered a loaf of their homemade rye bread to take home.
The Fireside. The BEST breakfast in town!

“Show me it was an amazing breakfast without telling me.”
Picture don’t always speak volumes now-a-days, but these do! First time visiting this spot on September 2025. Breakfast should universally be served until 2pm.

First time there and pleasantly surprised! Waitress Brianna greated us with a level of joy and kindness that muted out all the noise of holiday hustle n bustle. What an asset you all have there! The food was so tasty, great portion sizes and came out so quickly! Coffee was delish too and she kept it refreshed. I will 100% be back to try some other menu items.

This restaurant was so cute and cozy! We went at lunch time on a beautiful Fall day and only had to wait about 5 mins to be seated. The staff was so nice and great at their job! I had the meatloaf, mac and cheese and slaw. I was so good! Definitely recommend!

Came here for breakfast because it was 6 min away from our cabin, and OHHH MY GOD they do not make food like this in Charleston. Charona was so nice and amazing. Will 100% be back next time we visit !!

Great place to eat. Friendly staff and great menu selection. My recent visit had a 10 minute wait, due to being right after Sunday morning services. First time I had ever needed to wait to be seated. Food was great as always.

I had pecan waffles with sausage patties, and my husband had eggs, toast, traditional breakfast. Our server was friendly and efficient. The food came out hot and delicious. They also offer a discounted breakfast for those who want a smaller portion.

We went during the lunch rush, and it was busy, but somehow still calm inside. Service was amazing. Our server was Abigail and she was great— cheerful, kind, helpful! Our food was really good too. Tasted homemade, good quality, and generous portion sizes.

I had the Thursday special Chorizo omelette, which came with 3 pancakes and coffee. Husband got the meat lover’s omelette which came with grits and a biscuit. We split an order of blueberry pancakes between our 7 and 8 yo daughters and it was plenty for both of them. My 8yo son (who eats like a horse ) had the western omelette, which also came with grits and a biscuit, and ate almost all of it. Our two toddler boys ate the three pancakes from my meal, as well as bits of my husband’s omelette, and both of them were full when we were finished! Our bill was a little over $50. So a great value for our size family (7 people).

To everyone who had a hand in the Thanksgiving lunch you all prepared and gave back to the community it was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing. This was a very nice thing you all did. Thanks to all the employees who we seen working on this Thanksgiving to make this happen. To the owners who made this happen my wife and I pray you will be blessed by doing this. It was such an awesome meal and a great day. We were able to share this day with 3 people who didn’t have any family to share this day with. We will definitely be back and support your business and pray you all will be blessed every day. Thanks again for making this Thanksgiving a special day we want forget.
