The service was good, I didn’t wait long for anything. The food was average. The Chicken Tortilla Soup was the best thing I ate. It was super favorable and had just the right amount of spice. The Chile relleno was ok. The ground beef enchilada was underwhelming as the ground beef was not seasoned at all. The taco was disappointing. You would think they would fry their own taco shells but unfortunately not. The ground beef in the taco was not seasoned either. Overall the food was eatable but not what I expected.

Just a word if you use this restaurant to cater any meals for an event, get everything in writing. Do not take their word for a quote. Unfortunately we did not get our quote in writing on a recent event that we used them to cater. It cost our organization approximately an extra $5.00 per person and $500 for extra servers. This was a charitable event, which means our charity is the ones that took the hit for the extra money. It was that much less that we got to donate to the charity. Our charity just happened to be “Last Alarm Fire Company” We were told by the manager that El Patron does not support the military, or first responders. I hope they never need the Fire Department or the Police force, much less the military that fights everyday for our freedom. I’m sure this won’t stay up long on their FB page, but I have vented and said the absolute truth.

The atmosphere and service was excellent but I was not impressed by the food. My nachos had queso underneath them (I was not expecting that) so they were too soggy to pick up. The chips and salsa was amazing though.

El Patron catered our function last weekend and charged us more than they quoted. Their employees were on the dance floor dancing at our function which they should not have been. Also El Patron does not support Police Officers or Military. We will not give our business to El Patron ever again.

The best experience I’ve had in a long time . Our waitress was awesome and so attentive Jessica girl you are the best . The food was so delicious the price can’t be beat and I enjoyed my date ❤️❤️❤️.

We had a large party and our server did a good job in splitting the check properly as well as checking on our table often. The food was great. Our server did hype up the smothered burrito to being “Huge” but it was fairly small compared to other places that I’ve been to.

Worst place I have ever been and I’m from Amarillo. Pictures looked good but the food and service was horrible!!!
Had issues with the drinks tasting like water because the supposed to be Frozen drinks were half ice due to being mixed as ordered instead of being an actual FROZEN drink.
Next my grandson and son in law both ordered the hamburger, my grandson got a double and my son in law got a single patty and very little portion of fries. Called the Manager to the table, and got the run around about it must have been mixed up and they could bring out another one. Who wants to wait another 35 to 45 minutes for more food? She then got the supposed to be the Owner, she was worse than the Manager. She gave no type of compensation for the mistake and raised her voice, saying she cooked the food and it didn’t take 35 to 45 minutes. Poor Poor service!!! NEVER WILL GO BACK!!! Do not recommend to anyone. Food was very salty and the enchilada sauce tasted old.

Had my daughters birthday and reserved the back room had 1 server for 30 people and he did a amazing job with just him …the manager helped us out with our tv channels for people that wanted to watch different things it’s my second time going there and will be going back
