Amazing food. Honestly the only place worth eating at the Gaylord. Nicklaus was the best accommodating waiter I’ve had in a long time. To notch service accompanied by a tasty experience. We came there twice in 3 days and totally worth it. Cheers to an exceptionally staff!

It was a good experience. I expected a little more out of the steaks. I’m not a picky person but it just wasn’t quite on for the price. Brussel sprouts were good and of course the sides are huge. If you order a baked potato it will easily split for three.

Parking is expensive, however they will validate if you eat dinner there. There. So parking ends up being free.

I booked our reservations here when I purchased tickets for the cirque sprite of Christmas show. We had to select our dinner menu as we purchased the reservation. Which made it easy to get served and then make our show. I really was disappointed in the table they had reserved for us and asked if we could be seated somewhere that we could enjoy all the scenery and lights. They absolutely did that. Gave us a spectacular table with a view we will always remember. Our server was very attentive and made our experience very enjoyable. I had order the pork belly because I am allergic to shrimp which was the other choice for our appetizer. I had never eaten this before but the way it was prepared was very delicious. My French onion soup did not disappoint. The cheese cake with apple sauce and apples was delicious. My main entry was prime rib. Hum, not sure what they served me but if it was prime rib, it was the worst I have ever had, and I love prime rib. When this was served, the color was a brown . Never have I had prime rib that was not a least pink. This had a lot of gristle and very chewing, so chewing that I had to politely discard it in my napkin. If you decide to go here, please don’t order the prime rib along with the cirque tickets. Everything else was spectacular!

Had a great experience at this Old Hickory. Alen was our primary server and did a phenomenal job. All other servers were great, just didn’t catch their name. Stop by if you are at the Gaylord Palms Nashville.

Beautiful setting at Opryland Resort but we had a horrible experience. Took my mother here on a girls trip for her 80th birthday dinner. We both ordered the filet, which arrived way overcooked. The waiter actually had the audacity to pull out a flashlight to try to tell me it was the lighting! Lol For $70 each, we sent them back. When the new ones came out, they were LITERALLY raw. It was disgusting. The manager came out and was truly lovely, apologetic and said she’d take them off the bill. We explained we could not order something else as we had a show to get to. We ended up eating some of my daughter’s chicken and the now cold sides. No one removed the raw meat from our plates…they watched us sharing the chicken with my daughter. The worst part about this wasn’t even the steak issue. It was that our waiter at first did not even come back to our table, and when he did, he never once acknowledged the issue with the stakes. Not one word. It was like it didn’t even happen. It was so awkward. His behavior was 10 times worse than the raw meat. This is very expensive fine dining. It was stunning and outrageous his attitude. At the end of the dinner he came with the check and casually said “sorry the steaks didn’t work out but have fun at the show “ seriously??? Of course, as the server, it wasn’t his fault, but his lack of ANY acknowledgement or apology was appalling for a fine dining steakhouse such as this. Also, the filets were super tough looking and the one bite my mother got was the chewiest filet she ever had.

We did not have even an ok experience…except I guess for the beet salad which was fantastic.

The food was good – the market fish was very well cooked and the vegetarian option was unique and flavorful. Service was also good. But honestly this place is such a rip off – astronomical prices for food that is comparable or worse to any nice restaurant in Nashville. The resort was fun to walk around but I would choose somewhere else to eat, it’s just not worth it. They also put us at a really crappy table which one can’t really control but I feel like those back tables near the staff area shouldn’t even exist when the rest of the restaurant has a beautiful view. The whole thing was just very underwhelming

Chelsea and Angel were the first to greet me, and they were so kind and welcoming. I was stressed because I arrived late, but they took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable, even escorting me to my seat. The meal was excellent—the salmon, duck, and fresh bread were all delicious. The view was stunning, almost like dining in an enchanted garden.

Roger and Addison were amazing servers and great conversationalists, which made the night even more memorable. Everything about the experience was perfect, and I can’t wait to come back. Old Hickory Steakhouse at Opry Mills in Nashville is truly a gem

Impeccable service and lovely atmosphere. This hotel is amazing. The restaurant was even better. My prime dry aged ribeye was easily one of the best steaks I ever had. Utterly buttery and melted in my mouth. Roasted Brussel sprouts very tasty. The presentation and taste of the lobster bisque second to none. Jason was an amazing waiter. Crab cakes were awesome too. Splurge and go. Then take a walk around this lovely hotel.

We had a wonderful business dinner at the Old Hickory Steakhouse. It was definitely something I’ll remember. The Christmas lights added a really nice ambiance.

My New York Strip steak was perfect and the side dishes were really good.

We ordered a couple desserts and they were fabulous.

If you’re sitting “outside” they do have bathrooms that are accessible out there which are very nice.

It was an expensive dinner, but we were looking for something special as this was our team dinner.

Service: Excellent from host to server to busser. At the level expected for the pricepoint.

Food: Well-portioned, flavorful sides and entrées. Highlights were the lobster tail, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and the bacon-braised pork – definitely would reorder. Quinoa loaf and pork chop were tasty, but a bit dry. Apple pie cheesecake was good, but would not reorder for $15.

Ambience: good – very nice view of the Delta Christmas lights.

Management: There was a serious issue, but the manager went a step above to take care of it.

Would recommend for a single-time experience while staying at the Gaylord resort, or just for some of the sides.
