Kreggers was created by a nomadic family with Texas and Louisiana roots. It all started with a weekly backyard get-together for friends and family, with a spread of burgers and fajitas galore. The homemade sauces, home-smoked meats, and Southern inspired cuisine kept everyone coming back (and bringing more and more people with them each time!) Then, a brilliant idea: let’s open a restaurant for EVERYONE in the neighborhood to enjoy! Add signature cocktails and locally sourced craft beer, and Kreggers was born! At Kreggers, “Every day’s a holiday, and every night’s a honeymoon.” So, what are you waiting for? Come on down and “Grab life by the beer!”

The atmosphere here is really fun. They had an event going on, so there was live music and other things to do. My jerk tacos were really good, and my daughter really enjoyed her waffles. Our duo app we got was really good as well. My mom, however, was not pleased with her sandwich nor her salad. They have a lot on their menu, and its nice you can order breakfast till 3 pm. But the service we received was just terrible from walking in the door waiting to be seated to our waitress needing to be found and the attitude that was received it was definitely a turn-off to not want to visit again.

Kreffers is a nice place! Maddie was such a cool waitress! Highly recommend her if you come by. Had gator bites (ok), Mac Daddy chicken sandwich (nice!), Jerk chicken cheesesteak (excellent with ranch) and mushroom burger over lettuce (just right). Topped it all off with the pumpkin pie cheesecake (heavenly).

Pretty fun atmosphere here. Really enjoyed the food here. Gator bites were cooked great and my steak was just as I ordered and had lots of flavor all the while tender. Cheese fries and pork tacos also were splendid. Great place to get a bite to eat and even watch some sports too.

we stopped at kreggers on a road trip and were not disappointed. they had some live music and a great menu to choose from. their fried green tomatoes were perfectly breaded and dressed & my mom could not get enough of their wings. the real star was the pimento and crab dip which i think will live on in my memory forever. their alcoholic hot chocolate kept me warm and put me to sleep as soon as i got back in the car. overall great food, atmosphere, and experience.

This place was amazing. I had to review the menu and the specials a few times because I couldn’t decide. I went with the chicken tinga tacos at my server’s suggestion- did not disappoint!
They had live music the night I was there and they were great. Didn’t get the name of the duo.

Please add salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to the gouda mac. Cheese on top would help elevate the dish ( it is premium priced).

1st visit here on the way back from OBX.
Place is clean and staff attentive. Extensive menu. Cream cheese stuffed Jalapenos peppers wrapped in bacon with sauce. Excellent! The wife’s Cuban and corn side was very good as was my PB&J burger/fries. Burger was cooked to pink inside with chargrill exterior and the red pepper jelly was excellent. We will stop here again to sample more menu items. Maybe they will have the frog legs back on the menu?

No disrespect to the employees but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don’t get to pick one. No we don’t care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

I gave this place 2 tries and both times were horrible. I went here with my family on Sunday and everyone’s food was either burnt (my bread and family members sandwich bun) overcooked and dry( chicken cheese steak and chicken sandwich and Klub) or so fatty it could not be chewed and was spit out! (Ham and bacon on the Klub). The prices are not cheap yet the quality of food is terrible. Everyone was disappointed in their order which is unfortunate because it was expensive and the wait staff was super nice and efficient. ( both hostess and waitress) I will never go there again and I’m actually surprised it’s still in business unlike their former Richmond city location. DO BETTER!! Put so effort in quality instead of cost!

Went this past Sunday with our family. The server we had was super nice! But the food missed the mark. The meat on every dish was burnt and overcooked. The bacon was too fatty to even chew. It is really expensive for what you get and every dish was overcooked and not well made. I would skip this place!
