My family and I were on vacation and wanted some ice cream and this place was open until 10 so we thought we’d give it a try. We ordered at the walk-up window but we were disappointed when we realized there weren’t very many places to sit. We also wished there were mini and small sizes for things like shakes.

Enjoyed the custard I got and the service was friendly. The few times I’ve been here in the drive-thru, a team member will come out of the side door and pop into the driveway (not on the sidewalk) from behind a corner to take my order on an iPad. Then they go back inside to take my payment through the window. Not sure why they don’t just take the order through the drive-thru window too? I appreciate the commitment to customer service, but I’d encourage management to reconsider this policy for the safety of their employees. Seems like an accident waiting to happen.

I have always been a fan of Andy’s. They have great ice cream. But they took it to another level. We have been in the hospital for a week with my wife giving birth and son in the NICU. It’s been a trying time but then we were told that Andy’s dropped off ice cream for all the pre and post partum moms in the wing. It was a very special treat. We will be customers for life and it was just a great thing to do so good on them!

Update the next day: This establishment has redeemed itself. I got a jackhammer with strawberries and cheesecake. Every bite had cheesecake! It was soooooo good!

From out of town, I saw a few of these around, so we decided to stop and taste the custard. I ordered waffle concrete, which comes with chocolate chips, waffle pieces, and nuts. I felt like it would be even better if I added the cheesecake. Sadly, I received oreo cookies instead. It was good, but not Wisconsin good. I love going to Wisconsin to Leon’s custard. I would visit again, though.

It truly is the people that make the experience of a place. I’ve been coming to this location for years now as it’s on my way home. I ordered my concrete with cherries and when my order came out there were no visible cherries. I then asked if there were cherries and was assured that there were. The custard did not taste like cherries but it was clear the girl at the window was annoyed by me at this point so I drove off. I have now eaten this very expensive custard, that was supposed to have cherries in it, and have found a 1 cherry. 1 cherry… What is going on with quality control? There was no one in line behind me and no reason to have this sort of careless service for something that is a treat and certainly a splurge outside of necessary spending.

We ordered a regular strawberry Oreo shake, chocolate ice cream cone with two scoops, and a medium Rico Suave concrete. They were great size & paid less than $15. A lot of cars in the drive through but went down really quickly. We walked up &got served in less than 2 minutes. Great place, great ice cream! 100% would recommend.
