Ordered Smokey Joe Classic and Garbage Plate. Burger was good size, patty was thick. Chili fries were good. Garbage plate was also good. The side of macaroni was pretty good also. Good prices for what you get.

This is the 100th restaurant/fast food I’ve tried in 2 states ever since I’ve moved to Texas back in 2021, and it’s also the 4th local restaurant that I’ve ranked as a 5/5 (the others being Scotty P’s, The Londoner, & Enzo’s NY Pizza).
This place has a unique look to it, very friendly service, and delicious food. The steak fries were cooked very well, and the chicken tenders were very good with the flat breading and fresh white meat.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Denton and a fantastic way to reach a new milestone after 4 1/2 years.

RGS has everything—best burgers, best servers, crispy fried onion rings, fried pickles, and fries. Just the best all around! I’ve been here multiple times and they haven’t let me down yet. If you haven’t tried this place, you’re seriously missing out!

Cute place! Very home-y and I enjoyed the decor and the fact that this placelikes to preserve it’s history. My burger was also great! Our food was also ready quickly and the servers were great. I definitely recommend for a good burger!

It was all good except for one big thing…I ordered the super hot burger that is on the menu They say it has infused habaneros and ghost peppers blah blah blah I mean, was expecting an extra HOT burger. It was not hot. Don’t order it. I was expecting a runny nose, a red face, burning lips etc.
Take it off the menu RG. People who want hot/ spicy food know hot. It was Disappointing for the HOTHEADS like me.

It is a no frill and quality food place. Such places a becoming hard to locate especially around north TX.
The service was good. The seating is comfortable. They have a good layout catering to patron size. The quantity to cost ratio is correct. The quality is also very good. The burger bun is unique. Fries are tasty. I would be very surprised if you don’t visit again and try all their menu.

This was a pleasant surprise. While traveling through town, we wanted a burger, and we wanted a place that we were not used to, so we found this on Google. When we drove up, the outside made the place appear like a tiny spot, but when we went inside, the place had a ton of room, as well as unique wall hangers to go around reading.
Also, the most important thing – the burgers we ordered were fantastic. We went at an off hour, so I was not expecting great, but I was pleasantly surprised as everything turned out amazing. The fried pickles were also great.
Happy we stopped by and will definitely try to stop again whenever we are near.

This place was the best burger I had in a long time.. place was clean and had a good atmosphere. I took a date there for our anniversary and we really enjoyed the service. We will be visiting again and recommending R.G.s to others. Also, had a chance to spread the Word of God while we were there and the staff light up over getting lil black plastic braclets with scriptures on them. What an awesome experience.. Six star review..

I have been eating these delicious burgers since they opened probably 20 years. Unfortunately the owners sold the business to an absentee new owner. The burgers are still awesome but service is horrible. The staff along with the manager sit behind the counter laughing and telling inappropriate stories very loudly. Took forever for them to sit me as well as come to my table. It wasn’t busy they just sat up there and socialized. Recipe for disaster let the college staff run a business.
