I usually let small things go, but my experience at this A&W was so off-putting I felt it needed to be shared.
I was the only person in the drive-thru—not a rush, not a line, just me trying to give this place a chance. I asked a couple of basic questions about the menu, like the difference between two burgers, and was met with silence at first. When I repeated myself, the response was weird and came with clear attitude, like I was a nuisance just for asking.
When I tried to customize the burger—again, nothing wild—her tone got even worse. Dismissive, annoyed, and just unnecessarily rude. I decided to cancel my order and leave, because at that point I didn’t feel comfortable trusting someone with that kind of energy to handle my food.
As I pulled off, a man who seemed to be the manager actually gave me a sarcastic “Bye!” and a wave, like he was mocking me for leaving. Just bizarre behavior all around.
Again, I was the only car in the drive-thru, and still couldn’t get decent service. Fast food is tough work—I get that—but there’s no excuse for that kind of unprofessional attitude, especially when a customer is being polite. I left without a meal and without a single reason to ever come back.

The service was alittle slow. Most food items were warm but the fries were lukewarm (nearly cold) and looked like they may have been thrown in the bag. Overall I would visit again, maybe they just had an off moment.

I was very excited about ordering an olive burger and what I received was very disappointing this is a local favorite so I was so much looking forward to it so I received a single olive burger the bread itself was at least almost an inch thick on each side and then the meat was less than a quarter inch didn’t have much flavor I removed one piece of the bread and ate it that way. These used to be the best!! I will never order again.

I drive past here all the time. Why don’t I stop more? Stupid me!! My mission today was a nice frothy shake. I was thinking choc or van but at the last minute choose strawberry. A delight!
What you don’t know is that I stopped at Burger King (Sorry sir our shake machine is down) and McDonalds (Sorry. We are not offering shakes at present). I’m uncertain why fast food joints don’t like making shakes. I hate that they lie. Summertime is for shakes and floats and other tasty ice cream based treats.

The food was nice and fresh but we were pretty disappointed that we came in to dine specifically so my mom could enjoy a root beer float in a glass mug like the old days but they gave her plastic. We figured, oh well, they must not do that anymore, but then saw a guy like five minutes later as we were eating walk back to his table with a mug we were pretty disappointed. Otherwise it was good.
