First time visiting! I was Googling lunch places and found Mrs Fish. It wasn’t far from the hotel And was near another place I wanted to try. I was flabbergasted that I’d never heard of the place and had ridden by over the years! I’m so glad I went because it was Delicious ! I wanted to try the scallops but they were sold out . The calamari was the backup but they they did NOT disappoint!! The seasoning on the fries was chef’s kiss too. The server, Brittany (if I remember correctly), was a joy as well. I had her laughing and we talked about music and the artwork in the restaurant. It was a really good time and I can’t wait to go back.

Mrs. Fish is the perfect little lunch spot for fresh, grilled seafood! The atmosphere is casual and a bit divey—in the best way—but the food is top notch. I had the blackened grilled grouper and shrimp, and it was a 10/10, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, all for under $13! The crispy calamari was delicious too, served with a tasty dipping sauce. The best jumbo shrimp! Lightly breaded and not over cooked! Authentic fresh French fries. The gumbo is not the traditional Louisiana style, but more African style with big chunks of potatoes and carrots. Served over rice. Very tasty though. Recommend leaving the regular beaten path to try Mrs. Fish Seafood Grill.

Excellent customer service, fresh food and cozy atmosphere. A gem of a spot off the beaten path. Will be back again on next visit. The server greeted us with a smile and upbeat attitude, was a pleasure to converse with and offered suggestions that were delicious.

I was slightly worried because when we arrived here, there were absolutely no other customers in the restaurants. Usually, that’s not a good sign but staff were very attentive. The Coke products were all bottled instead of fountain. The calamari was flavorful and perfectly textured. Great hush puppies and cold slaw. Fish and shrimp tacos were fresh and tasty. Fries were decent.

My son & I ate Mrs. Fish with some friends while we were on vacation. they found it online, it was nearby & is seafood on a budget. The restaurant was in a strip mall with diagonal parking spots out front. It’s easy to miss. There were 4-5 homeless people sitting around outside while we were there. Inside is kinda run down. The other ladies got haddock, but i had grilled chicken. It was extremely dry & bland. They don’t have pickles or mustard. Nasty fries are served with every meal. The kids didn’t like the burgers, chicken or fries. & they charged 20% on bill for parties of 5+
