Heard good things about this place so I tried it out. Came in place only had some loud mouths at the bar talking about how one guy screwed his ex wife and his mom and just going on and on. I ordered meat loaf in house and a pulled pork sandwhich to go. The meatloaf was raw inside and I touched it and it was frozen, I asked the worker to touch it to see im not crazy and she refused. What’d they do to fix it you may ask? Microwaved it and sent it back out. I didn’t think to take the picture before flagging her down but this is the mush after they microwaved it and sent it back. She came over and saw i didn’t eat it and didn’t mention a word about it just gave me my to go bag and receipt and took my plate. Just under 33 dollars for the bill.

Stopped here after our hike and I got a truly delicious chicken pasty and a cold beer. The pasty was unbelievable and the beer was decent. My partner got a sandwich and fries, and we also split some fried whitefish bites. All of it was tasty. Plenty of parking and lots of seating. A no frills spot with taxidermied animals and pool tables.

Great place in the middle of forests! The food was great too! The old lady was very humble and nice. We will definitely come back whenever we are around! Nashville hot wings are highly recommended!!

Had a great stop here after the pictured rocks boat cruise and was my disappointed. The whitefish was delicious and had a good size beer menu. The brat burger was so good!

My friend and I stopped here after a long evening hike. We had whitefish and fries. The food was delicious. I even enjoyed the coleslaw that came with it, which is not usual for me. The service was excellent, this place is lucky to have a very sweet and fun bartender.
We loved the decoration there, and bonus points to the very warm and fun atmosphere.

Nice place away from the hustle and bustle of Munising. Food was decent, but prob wouldn’t get the ribeye for $36 again. Service was spectacular and there was a pool table off to the side, away from the dinner crowd. 6/27/24

On a very very cold day, we were looking for a place to have a warm meal and a beer and this place delivered! They aren’t about frills but you don’t need them. The service was wonderful! I had a the chicken pasty (pronounced past-y) which was delicious. My husband had their open face turkey sandwich which he said hit the spot.
Also, just use cash here. They have an atm at the front and cash prices on the menu. If we ever are back in the area, we would stop by again!

One of the best snowmobile stops in Michigan. Pasty’s are awesome. The decertuve bear on top the pasty is a nice touch.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was rough from start to finish. The service set the tone immediately. As soon as our waiter walked up, the first word out of her mouth was “Tab.” No greeting, no welcome just that. I genuinely thought she was saying hi, so I responded with “Hi, how are you?” She then repeated “TAB” even louder, clearly frustrated, and said she needed to know who was on what tab. Just a really awkward and unprofessional way to start a meal. Definitely not how you greet customers.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for the interaction. I ordered the patsy, and it was bland and honestly pretty mid. The coleslaw tasted old like it had been sitting around and reused. Nothing about the meal stood out in a positive way.
The only real positive was the atmosphere. It was fine nothing wrong with it, nothing special either.
